                                                                                      Logan:

Logan sighed. He was tired, and had been up for a while. This wasn't unusual, of course, as Logan was a side, a part of Thomas' one personality. He was imaginary, he didn't need to fulfill basic human tasks and needs. All he was here to do is be Thomas' logic. Although, he was still questioning how significant all the sides, including himself, were. We've seen that if one of us decides to "duck out" as Virgil called it, Thomas will not have the trait that side represents. That was what Logan was meant to be studying right now. The significance of sides.

Logan liked to study things at night. He always had a neat plan as to what he would theorize and research about for a while, and once he had been satisfied with his answer and evidence to that question or topic, he would move on to another. He also enjoyed it because, since the rooms appeared as Thomas' location, Logan got to relax on Thomas' bed. He usually did this at night, just in case the sides needed his knowledge for something, so he might have some answers for them. But, mostly, he did not want to be interrupted while he was working. Alas, they never needed his knowledge anyway. He still wondered why he kept doing this, as sleep would be nice. Whatever, I need to get back to work.

I tried to get back to work, but my... feelings... were hard to handle. I couldn't stop thinking about how terribly the others treated me, my recent...appreciation for wine, my outbursts of emotion that had nothing to do with what I am supposed to be. It was surprisingly too much to comprehend, unusual for Logan. Logan knew he needed to get his mind off these troubling things, but he kept thinking and thinking. Why did his eyes turn orange? Why doesn't Thomas care to listen to his logic? Why do the others never think to check in on him? He finally let out an angry scream. All of the room's walls were soundproof, because of the separate areas of Thomas' mind they were in. He needed to get his mind off of this.

He never usually went to the dreamscape, unless he was needed there. But, he hoped that maybe, possibly, Thomas was having a pleasant dream. The dreamscape always felt weird at first, as Thomas was in an unconscious state. As Logan rose into the dreamscape, he felt the usual rush of dizziness and almost fell over. Coming into the dreamscape kind of felt like you were very drunk. I quickly adjusted my glasses and tie, and found Thomas standing about 9 feet away from me.

I also saw Remus standing in front of him. "Oh lord" I thought as I rubbed my temples. Usually, when we were in Thomas' dreams, we would appear to be someone else. It was very rare to catch a glimpse of a side looking like themselves in a dream. It appeared that Remus was pretending to be Thomas' friends, and saying bad things about him, supposedly to make him think his friends hated him. "Can't you just leave me alone?" Remus said as Valarie. "Why are you so annoying?" Remus said as Nico. I knew I had to step in. One person in particular Remus hadn't portrayed yet was Quil. I popped in. "Thomas, you cannot possibly think this is real, can you?" I said, not trying to act like Quil. "This is just a dream, and the 'friends' you are seeing right now, including me, aren't actually your friends, just imagined versions of them." Thomas relaxed, and the dream changed. I took Remus to the side.

"Logan, what are you doing in the dreamscape?" Remus said in an over-the-top, obviously faked, surprised tone. "I just was wondering what Thomas was dreaming about." I lied. Remus went along with it "Oh dear me, why cant you just let me do my thing in peace" Remus replied, full of sarcasm. I sighed. "The dream you were just giving Thomas was distressing him, and if he woke up from that, i'm afraid he would remember that dream. This could lead to a growth in anxiety, and/or mixed feelings about his friends." I spoke. "But I was about to get to the fun one" Remus said. I sighed again. "What is the fun one Remus". "I'm glad you asked! So, basically..." Remus started. I was one of if not the only side who usually wasn't bothered by Remus. However, this dream he wanted to give Thomas was very... well... unpleasant, so I tuned him out.

"And then, he would wake up and realize what he just dreamed about!" Remus said, very excited. "Well, maybe you should go back to your room?" I said, and he didn't want to go. "But Logan" He said like a winy baby. "Just, go to bed or something" I replied. "HAH! Me? Sleep? You've lost it Logan. I thought I was the only insane person here!" He shot back. I groaned. "Remus, please." I was done at this point. "Fine, fine" Remus replied, putting his hands in the air. "Bye bye Logan~" he said, a creepy grin on his face as he sunk out. I then walked through a park the dream generated, suddenly hearing a sound.

Logan saw an eye peek out from behind a tree, and a silhouette that was Thomas'. Good. This was a side. The eye, however, different from other sides, had dark black eye shadow under it. Logan then said "Virgil, I know it is you, please come out". Virgil peeked out from beside the tree, and Logan ushered Virgil over to sit on a bench. He sat next to me.

"So... what are you doing here?" I asked. "I don't know, I just kinda got summoned here once Remus' dream started" Virgil replied, clearly tired. "Hm. Thomas' increase of anxiety due to a troubling dream caused you to show up. Were you brought here by Remus?" "No" He replied. "Does this happen often?" Virgil just nodded his head. "Oh, I apologize for that. That must be cruel. Just being summoned during every nightmare sounds horrible, especially considering Thomas' now frequent nightmares" I said. He just nodded.

"Well, what are you doing here?" Virgil said. "Oh... well..." I muttered. I didn't want to lie to Virgil, but I also didn't want to tell the truth. "I just... needed some fresh air, a nice walk in the park, you know?" I replied. Virgil nodded, clearly skeptical. "Cool" he said. "So... what do you think of all of Thomas' recent nightmares then?" Virgil asked.

We continued to conversate as the dreams rapidly changed around us. We didn't really mind. Even when the room went blank (Thomas had woken up) we still continued to talk. I enjoyed talking to Virgil, we normally didn't interact that much. We were on pretty good terms before, unlike almost any other relationship in the mindscape. But then, Virgil was summoned by someone. He sunk out and I was left alone in the empty dreamscape.
