Virgil:
Logan and Virgil were talking for a very long time now. Virgil even lost track of time. They talked about Thomas and how strange it is that they exist at first. Logan then talked so passionately about what he apparently had been studying recently. Virgil looked at how his eyes shined and how excited he was about what he was talking about. Virgil thought it was adorable, he never thought he would find Logan adorable though. Logan seemed far from being adorable. As they talked longer, Virgil realized how much he enjoyed Logan's company. He always listened to what you had to say, and expected nothing less from you. Virgil hadn't seen this side of Logan in a long time
Virgil had remembered when they first met. It was when they were kids, and Logan had only recently appeared in the mindscape. When Logan first saw almost all of the sides, he was more curious than knowledgeable. When he first saw Virgil, he asked many questions that left him very anxious. Virgil eventually left. Their relationship deteriorated in later teenage years, though, as Virgil tended to scare Thomas, leaving the light sides to try to help Thomas. Logan was the only one who was truly helpful though. Nowadays, Logan seems more distant than ever though. Virgil wonders why, but he nonetheless, he continues to listen to Logan's theories and other things. Then, Virgil felt a tug. The tug became harder to resist, and eventually, he was gone.
He rose up into the sort of communal 'house' for the light sides. Patton and Roman were there, and Patton had a worried look on his face. "Hey kiddo, you alright?" Patton said. I responded with; "What do you mean? I'm completely fine". "Well, it's 2:00 pm and you usually come downstairs in the morning, so, I was just wondering." Virgil then realized how long he and Logan had been talking. He hadn't noticed the time passing. "O-oh, must have just lost track of the time..." Virgil said, for some reason he didn't want to tell them about what happened last night.
"Uhm, where's Logan?" Virgil asked suddenly, breaking the silence. "Probably in his room working" Roman said in an annoyed tone. Virgil wondered why they didn't really care where Logan was. "M'kay" Virgil said. He sunk out, to his room, of course. Virgil was slowly working up the courage to go back to Logan's room. He actually enjoyed talking to Logan. Logan and Virgil had kept up a good relationship, they rarely fought. It wasn't like he knew him well, he wasn't that talkative, at least, it seemed that way. Virgil remembered before he revealed his name, how happy Logan was. He smiled a lot, and always had the chance to input his thoughts into the conversation and gladly took them. Over the years, all the pain and arguments and changes, Logan seemed to become more distant. When Thomas called him cool, Logan seemed so happy, like he hadn't felt that way in a long time. Wait. He hadn't felt like that in a long time, hadn't he?
Virgil immediately started to put the pieces together. Logan was becoming more upset, no one was listening to him, when he got recognized for his contributions he was surprised and happy when he was noticed only to be put back down. Why didn't he notice the signs before? Why did he push aside Logan's clear upset looks when he is with the group? Virgil had to do something.
He had to help Logan.
AN: I apologize for the short chapter! I also apologize for posting this without finishing it. I might end up writing a lot of chapters because I feel like it, anyway, bye!
