"Y/N!" Pin's voice echoed through the forest as you tried to cling onto Pharaoh, the horse had gone absolutely mad when a loud bang had gone off somewhere near and just wouldn't stop.

You had tried to pull his reins and even tried to find a safe place to jump off in your panic, but the forest was full of rocks and pointy sticks, you could easily hurt yourself badly. But you were nearing the bedrock walls at the shore, and Pharaoh could throw you off in his panic, causing you falling to your death. So your options were either to take a risk, hang on and trust that Pin, Zoe, Gaby and Marcus could reach you in time or throw yourself off. And you chose the second option.

For a moment after throwing yourself off Pharaoh, your ears were ringing and you were seeing black dots everywhere. You felt like you were unable to move, and you heard someone running to you, throwing themselves to their knees beside you. You heard voices, but couldn't make sense of what they said. They were echoing, and your ears were still ringing. After a moment, you started to hear and see properly again, seeing Pin kneeling beside you with your helmet beside him, his face sweaty and behind him, Marcus was holding Pharaoh's reins as Zoe was calming him down.

You looked down, seeing that Pin had your hand in his, squeezing it tightly. Pin stared at your face, and you stared back.

"Are you okay?" Gaby asked, and your gaze snapped to her. You blinked.

"Yeah. I'm... I'm fine." you mumbled and turned your gaze to Pin again.

"Guys, I think we should let them in peace for a moment." Zoe muttered and the three walked a little further away. You made a move to sit up, but Pin held you down.

"Don't. The fall looked really bad. You should probably lay down for a while." he told you and you sighed and nodded. After a while, when you felt completely normal again, you made another attempt to stand up, and this time Pin hesitantly helped you up. He quickly checked your face, wrists and neck for any injuries and let out a shaky sigh of relief.

"All good, doctor?" you chuckled nervously to try and lighten up the mood and fade your own shock, but Pin wasn't laughing.

"I thought... I thought..." Pin's hands shook as they roamed up and down your sides. You frowned.

"Pin? Are you-" you started to say, but got interrupted when he grabbed your face and pressed his lips against yours.

Your eyes widened as you didn't even realize what was happening for a moment, but when you did, you felt like all the blood in your body decided to have a party. But unfortunately, you didn't even kiss back in your surprise, and Pin pulled away way too quickly with flushed cheeks.

"I'm sorry, I should have asked-" he began, but you raised your fingers to his lips and shook your head.

"No, it's alright. It's just that... that was my first kiss." you confessed and looked at your toes. "But I wouldn't have wanted it with anyone else. But maybe next time I would like to kiss you properly and not just because I have almost died. I- I mean... if you want to kiss me again?"

Pin blinked at you, before he smiled a little, tilted your head up and leaned in to steal another kiss from you as an answer to your question, and this time you did kiss back. It felt even more like fireworks were going off inside your whole being. When he pulled away, he remained close to you, your noses almost brushing together.

"Is that better?" he muttered, and you let out a flushed giggle, wrapping your arms around his neck.
