WICKERGRIN'S POV
Wickergrin's eye twitched, focused on the grumpy she next to him. Or so he'd call her. His tail flickered across the ground, thinking, as he tried to strike up a conversation.
"You're blind, right?" He smirked crookedly with his fangs sticking out. Misteyes just stared at him for a moment, her slightly blue eyes narrowed, like when a cat's utterly pissed off. Yeah, that's her right now.
"What in the name of Silverpelt? Is that how you start off a conversation?" she spat, her left ear twitching irritably.
"Well," his smirk grew, "there are other ways. . ." he meowed in a suggestive way, icy eyes narrowing.
"Nevermind." Misteyes huffed, then turned her milky gaze back on him. "Yes, I am. Why?" She narrowed her eyes again, obviously questioning the odd question.
"How do you know what's going on?" Wickergrin cocked his head, actually curious as to why and how she works as a warrior.
"I have hearing, smell, taste, and touch still, mouse-brain. But I can still see slightly." Her tail lashed, flitting across the earth like a frightened weasel. "Now, stop questioning me."
"Shouldn't you be a med-cat then? I mean, even if you can still see a little." He was really interested now; but, of course, she didn't answer him.
Mouse-dung! He spat to himself, curling his tail around himself. He acqueised with this, though, no matter how badly he wanted to know.
"What's this?" His ears pricked to a new voice. Snapping his head around, he came face-to-face with a she-cat similar looking to Misteyes. "And who might you be?" She narrowed her eyes at him.
"Oh, hell. . ." he started, but was cut off by the previously mentioned she.
"Wickergrin; held hostage under Azuretar's orders," Misteyes groaned before adding, "and for me to watch." She growled slightly as Wickergrin smirked.
"But why a SmokeClan tom, of all cats?" the she scoffed, her amber eyes holding disgust directed at him.
"Because. . ." Once again, he was cut off by the same she.
". . .apparently, he was trespassing on RavineClan territory; StarClan knows why." she snorted, licking her paw and swiping it over her ear. "Why are you here, though, Hornetflower?" Misteyes asked, though her gaze held respect for the warrior.
Hornetflower narrowed her eyes. "I was just about to ask you the same thing, but obviously you're watching this tom." she growled, disgusted, still, at the fact of him being here. He thought she was going to leave, but instead, she turned to him. "Dare do anything to her, and I won't hesitate to gut you like a fish and feed your inners to the buzzards," she growled.
Wickergrin sat up straight, eyes wide, as he held his paw up to his head in a mock salute, despite the situation. "Yes, ma'am!" he gasped, eye twitching. Hornetflower just narrowed her amber orbs angrily before finally walking off.
"Take it as a promise," Misteyes retorted to him, her gaze half-lidded, as she grinned slightly at him, "she doesn't take many things lightly. So if I were you, I'd take her seriously; especially in your case," she sighed, her tail continuing its rippling across the short blades of grass. In fact, this was one of the only areas here with green grass.
"Hnngh," he grunted, tufted ear twitching, "I'll be sure to take that to heart." Wickergrin rolled his eyes. He honestly didn't care about what others had to say. "Oh, StarClan, is she coming back?" he shrieked, actually freaking out this time.
"Yep," Misteyes smirked contemptuously, "she sure is."
"Agh!" Wickergrin cried, flailing, as he tried to untangle himself from his slouched sitting.Associated with art-min and Heichous_Girl.
