                                                                            MISTEYES' POV

Misteyes sat just outside the warriors' den, ear flicking, as she rasped her tongue over her paw and swiped it across her ear. Her milky eyes narrowed, the pawsteps of a familiar cat preached on a smooth stone near the leader's den catching her attention.
  Lynxswipe.
His raspy voice called over, "Guarding the warriors' den or what?" he sneered, only flaring her temper slightly.
"Indecent tom," she mumbled, continuing to groom her pale pelt.
"Yeah, yeah. Whatever you say, sprout." That ticked her off.
"Who's to say I'm not just as old as you? Be useful for once, and organize patrols," she hissed, narrowing her glazed orbs. Her pale striped tail lashed irritably, as she huffed out a sigh, baring her sharp teeth.
"Dear StarClan, you she-cats are difficult."
"And you toms are indecent and mouse-brained," she retorted.
"Oh, er, I've got a patrol to lead," Lynxswipe quickly replied, shuffling off. A slight grin of satisfaction etched across her features.
"That's what I thought." Misteyes turned her gaze, stretching out as she yawned, ears laying back while her jaw stretched. That is, until her ears pricked up, only to detect the pawsteps of an oncoming patrol. Her sight trained on the three cats--er, four?
That's just unlikely. She thought, knowing when the patrol headed out that there was only three cats.
Canyonleap, Vixenleaf, and Flarepaw, with another auburn tabby that suspiciously resembled Vixenleaf herself. Actually, it seemed she was giving sharp glares at the tom, him returning the look.
"What the. . ." she started, but was interrupted by Azurestar's voice.
"Who is this?" she called over, her voice, for once, giving a hint of irritation. Misteyes could literally feel how her tail lashed against her den.
"Azurestar," Vixenleaf awkwardly dipped her head, while the tom smirked at her hesitation. "I've no idea why he is here, but. . .he's my brother," she hissed at the last word, eyes narrowing, "Wickergrin," Vixenleaf added, lashing her red tail.
The tabby, now known as Wickergrin, dipped his head in mock respect. "Hello, Azurestar," he mewed sarcastically, narrowing his icy eyes. Misteyes felt a slight irritation with him already.
"What brings you here?" The grey-blue leader grew more irritable by the minute, the only time she had. Apparently this tom knew how to make her tick.
"Better yet, why are you here again?"
Her eyes widened; she hasn't seen Wickergrin before, has she? She would've remembered.
Misteyes cleared her head of thoughts, just as soon as Azurestar finished.
"Misteyes, you'll guard him. Only until his Clan cares enough to come for him can he leave."
She had to watch this lunatic? She thought to herself as Wickergrin walked over, a smirk plastered on his features still. How much had she missed?
Dear StarClan, what is he doing?
She almost screeched aloud as she felt the tom's breath near her face, her own ears flicking back, as she opened her mouth to respond.
"What are you doing?" Misteyes hissed, backing away, hot with anger.
"So. . .you're blind?" He simply asked, as if she hasn't asked a question herself. What indecency!
"Why would that matter?" She hissed, narrowing her whitish gaze as she bore her fangs angrily. She could feel his pelt brush past her, the smugness present still in his stride. "I'm gonna kill you," she muttered under her breath.
"Good to know. Now, let's get this over with, Misteyes," Wickergrin sneered, sitting a little ways away.
I really wanna kill him. . . She repeated in her mind, following his scent irritably and stopping in front of him. Her gaze flitted around, waiting, just to see if Azurestar was kidding about this.
Guess not. She hissed. In fact, she could imagine Azurestar sitting in her den, laughing evilly at how she's tormenting Misteyes so.
"What's your deal?" Misteyes heard that irritating voice again. She rolled her eyes, ignoring his question and others that came. Moments passed, maybe until sunhigh, before she actually acknowledged him. "Could you, like, just, I don't know, let me go?" He seemed urgent when he said that.
  "No."
  "Why?" She heard anxious shuffling.
  "Orders."
"Is that Wickergrin?" came an astonished tone from one of the most irritating cats.
"Fox-dung!" Misteyes heard the whispered curse from Wickergrin.
Apparently he doesn't find much favor in him either. She snorted.
  "Please!" he shrieked, almost madly
"N-O," she spat, just as soon as Lynxswipe bounded over.
"It is!" he gasped, eyes wide as he stared at Wickergrin.
"StarClan," she heard his whisper, as the RavineClan deputy sized him up.
  "You look like your father!"
  "Sadly," Wickergrin grunted, "I do. . ."

Wait. . .if they're related, that means. . .dear StarClan, there's three of them here!
