They gathered around their former Clanmate, heads bowed in sorrow, as they mourned for the cat. A lithe tom squeezed his way through all the crowding cats, staring at the corpse of his dead mate. A whine ripped its way from the tom's throat, causing his orange pelt to shudder.
"Redcough. . .I never knew it was this bad," he slowly mumbled. He didn't know she would've died from this. The medicine cat said she'd be fine.

"Mother," he whispered, ears laying back, as his strutleft him. "Why?" He lashed his specked tail angrily, locking his fangs into a low growl.
He turned, swaying his bushy tail behind him, and walked off. But before he left, he turned and narrowed his eyes at the Clan. And not just all of them, but the medicine cat.
"Demonstrike, you'll pay for what you've done. I won't even begin to forgive you until you're dead!" he snapped, eyes flaring, before his paws led him away from the camp.
That left the whole Clan shocked and dumbfounded, except Demonstrike. She just sat there.
Smirking.
