Notes before reading:
~ This oneshot is actually a new and improved version of a oneshot I recently accidentally deleted. So the words won't be the same, but the general idea of the plot that I can remember is. Sorry for the inconvenience ~

<~•~>

Wind blew through your hair, blowing it back as you failed to hold back your persistent tears. You sat alone on the large stone statue of him in Mondstadt, having yet another mental breakdown as you took deep breaths.

The sky around you was dark, and there were no stars above. The only thing that allowed you to see was the bright full moon, illuminating your sad face and the miserable city in front of you.

Time seemed to pass too slowly on this lonely statue. In fact, you didn't even know why you were there. After all, it was a statue of  him. A statue of the recently... no, it hurt to much to say. You still hadn't been able to come to terms with what had happened. It was all too much, all too hard to cope with.

There were only two question you seemed to continue to ask yourself. Why? Why and how? Why did he do what he did? And how was he even able to die? He's an archon... this wasn't supposed to happen... this shouldn't even be possible.

You screamed at the starless sky, your voice scratchy from the grief you had endured, "WHY?! WHY DID THIS HAPPEN?"

He was gone. He left you. He promised he'd never leave and yet... here you are, screaming at the sky, wallowing in grief.

The night was endless, and the sky eventually became clouded over with storm clouds, a light rainstorm appearing. You just had enough of this world. You felt so lost, so alone.

Some people have told you before that "the weather reflects the archon's emotions". You couldn't help but softly smile as your clothes started sticking to your shoulders, causing you to shiver as the cold, wet rain covered you.

The sky shared your grief as you sobbed, eventually hiding your face in your hands as you tried to stifle your cries of mental pain. You didn't want anyone to hear you. You were tired of the eyes of pity that gazed upon you. You were exhausted of their worry, of their apologies.

"Look over there. That's (Y/N). Be careful around them. They're a fragile person."

"Why? What happened to them?"
