HARRY'S POV
I woke up and it didn't surprise me when Ron wasn't in his bed. He hasn't slept here in weeks.
I got up and ready for class then headed down for breakfast.
Ron and Hermione were there.
"hey guys, how have you been" i asked awkwardly
"good" Hermione answered quickly
"we miss you Harry" Ron said looking away
"yeah, it's not like i didn't try to talk to you guys." i said raising my voice and storming away.
They literally abandoned me.
Hermione chased me out of the great hall.
"Harry wait. Can just you and I talk?" Hermione asked hopeful
"yeah, of course we can." I shouldn't give her another chance but she's my best friend.
"How have you been?" she seemed genuine
"I haven't been great. How have you been?" i said truthfully
"I've been good, I've missed you. Why haven't you been good?" she said
"I've missed you too, Hermione. I need to tell you something." i was so nervous
"Of course, you can tell me anything." she said reassuring
"I'm bi, and I have a thing for Malfoy. We've kissed a couple times but i don't think he's interested in me. I have no friends and I have detention every week with Malfoy. It's the only thing keeping me going right now and i don't even know what life is anymore." I said starting to choke up
Hermione hugged me and kept telling me it was okay as I cried onto her shoulder. I missed her so much.
"Harry. Go take a nap. We'll talk later okay?"
"Okay, thank you. Goodbye Hermione."
I went upstairs and closed my eyes as soon as i hopped into bed.
