"Where are we going?" I ask, for the millionth time. Cameron doesn't let up as he continues driving to a familiar place. It's the flower field.

I turn to him excitedly, "are we spending the day here again? We haven't been here in ages." And it's true, I've been so busy with patients and Cameron has too, so we haven't had the chance to just spend the day together.

"Yep, and we're here." He announces, getting out of the car and walking to my side, opening it up so I can leave.

"Always a gentleman." I tease, and I get déjà vu.

"Only for you." He replies, interlocking our hands and bringing us down to our spot by the tree. He sits down and pats the patch of grass next to him for me to take a seat.

I sit down and turn so I'm laying with my head on his lap. He looks down at me with a smile, and I remember all the things I love about this boy.

"It's been a while since we've done this." I sigh, looking at the flowers.

"Done what?" He asks.

"Just sat and enjoyed each other's company, we've been so busy." I reply, a bit dejected.

He pats my shoulder so he has my attention again and he lifts me up so we're facing each other.

"Yeah well, I guess we'll have to make more time for each other right?"

"Of course. Living in the same house as you isn't enough." I laugh. Cam takes my hands in his.

"Good. You do know that I love you, right?" He asks.

I cup my ear, "what was that? Can you repeat that?"

He rolls his eyes knowing I'm joking, "I'm being serious."

I immediately sober up, "yes, I know and I love you too."

"Well that makes things a lot easier, because I want to spend the rest of my life with you. We've been together for a while now, but I've always known that you've been it for me. Since the very beginning.

You're perfect in every single way, you're beautiful, badass and most of all my best friend. I love you more than life itself." I fight the urge to break down into tears, but one betrays me.

"Aviva, you've been through so much. Somewhere along the way, I realised that I want to be there with you every step of the way. To be able to wake up with you every morning and have a million cats if that's what you want." He pulls out a box and gets down on one knee. "So Aviva Merliah Jones, will you marry me?"

I grab his neck and press my lips to his, and give him a hug. "Yes. Yes I will." I whisper. He pulls me back and kisses my head. He takes the ring out and puts it on my finger.

It's beautiful. It has little flowers on the sides and the vines hold a beautiful diamond in the centre.

Once it's on, I hug him again, "don't ever let me go."

He lets out a shaky laugh, "I don't ever plan on it."

I walk into the house and hear Stella and Marcel in the living room. I wonder what they're doing here. As I open the door, I see Aviva carrying one of their twins, Stella holding the other and Marcel going to take a picture.

"Am I interrupting something?" I ask. Marcel turns around and beckons me over to be in the photo too. I position myself behind Stella and Aviva but lean into Aviva's side.
