This was bad, really bad. Our class was fighting over food, of all things.

We needed to stop this as soon as possible.

"C'mon guys. We have to help them." Cena, always taking the lead in helping others. She started towards the door motioning for us to come with her.

Charles looked at me, then left to help Cena. I went to follow, but stopped when I got to the door to the outside.

I turned around and saw the volunteer that talked to us sitting on the bench with her hand together in her lap and biting her lip.

I had an idea. I walked over to the lady and stood in front of her to get her attention. She slowly looked up at me.

"Hi" I said quietly. "Oh, hi" She said back "I'm really sorry about your lunches. It's such a waste of food for that to happen." She looked back down at her hands.

"I know, but I had a question about that though. Do you know where the truck is?" I asked, not wanting to be suspicious.

She tilted her head to the side, confused at why I asked. "I'm sorry, but why do you want to know?

I had to think of something that didn't sound weird, so I shrugged. "Oh, I don't know. Just curious."

She looked me deep in the eye as if she was a fortune teller, looking into my future. I tried to hide the look on my face that would tell her that my class was going crazy over the fact that we weren't getting lunch.

The best I could do was to look away and scratch my head. I moved my eyes to look at hers and she smiled.

"Oh well there's no harm in telling you. I think it's around Brooklyn Street, or was it Hiller Road? Oh I don't know it was one of those streets." Her domineer changed as she talked. She was not super cheerful as if Canada had won the Olympics.

"Thank you, that's really helpful" I splattered a smile on my face as she stood and walked away.

I rushed outside to look for Cena and Charles. No one was there, it looked deserted. A slight breeze blew my way and I closed my eyes, ' fresh air'. I thought, I had been stuck in a stuffy class room for close to four hours.

I refocused and told myself 'ok, Aly, you can do this, your class is crazy and fighting for food. Just look for Cena and Charles and you'll be fine.'. Cena and Charles, look for them first.

This is going to be a long recess. I looked over at the big, rocky hill and saw someone run away. I'm a pretty fast runner so I darted up the hill.

I was just able to take a glimpse of the person, it's Luke. They thought that I didn't see them and ran away quickly to Gina, Clarise, Belinda and Lacey.

Still no sign of Cena or Charles. I gotta keep looking.

We have a small school, but we've got lots of land. Arbutus Grove School has about twenty acres of land.

After about, ten minutes, I spot Cena yelling at Charles. Oh, no. What did he do. I rushed over as quickly as possible to get to them.

"Why would you do that!" I could hear Cena's voice from about twenty feet away. "We could've calmed them all down but you had to go and do that!"

Cena was scolding Charles for something that he did. When I came to the two of them Cena turned and faced me "Thank goodness you're here. This guy is driving me crazy! We were close to Mack but then Charles gave us away by saying 'can I get a hoiya?'."

Cena folded her arms and glared at Charles. I sighed "That's disappointing, but I'm sure that we'll get another opportunity to calm them down." Would we?

"Ugg, it's like our class has been brainwashed into just going after food!" Cena put her hand to her forehead.

"Sure all of them might be able to take us down, but they don't know where the food is, do they?" I knew where the food was, no one else did.

Cena put her hand on her hip and transferred her weight to one leg "None of us do, Aly." Her tone sounded like a 'you know what'

"I do. I asked the lady who told us and she said that they're around Brooklyn Street or Hiller Road, she couldn't remember." I smirked in my head at Cena's surprised face.

"Ok, that's good, right? Now we can get to the lunch faster than them." Charles sounded really happy as if he had solved E=mc 2 (I doubt that he ever could).

We settled down to talk about our plan on a couple of big rocks. After a couple of minutes of talking, Cena turned and looked into the trees.

Charles and I looked at each other, then turned our gaze to where Cena was staring. I couldn't see much except for the subtle rustling of the leaves from the wind.

I stopped in the middle of my thoughts and raised a hand in the air. There was no breeze, just the heat of the sun against my hand.

"Someone's there." I lowered my hand and stared deeply at the leaves. "What, there's no one there." Charles remarked, after.

"She's right. The leaves are moving on their own." Cena stood up and Charles and I followed.

We slowly walked to the bushes where the spy was. I think we all thought the same thing: 'try and scare him/her/them out, then chase'.

As we got closer, someone jumped out the back and ran away. Charles and Cena went right, I went left and we started our chase.

The figure was unidentifiable but it was unmistakably a boy. He was not fast like Mack or Koen or tall like George and not slow like Lennon. It was most likely Gavin.

Gavin was not fast, but he was not slow. He was not short, but he was not tall. Gavin was an average boy and one of the weird ones.

Gavin looked to his right, but not his left where I was. I don't think he noticed that we split up. Without knowing I was only about five feet behind him, he turned left.

I stopped, then he stopped and there was a brief moment when our eyes met. From just behind him, Cena and Charles jumped on him and pinned him to the ground.

"Why were you listening to our conversation? Are you a spy for Mack?" Cena's loud voice booming in his ear stunned him a bit.

"I- I wanted to help you guys. M- Mack and everyone else are going crazy and you look like the only sane ones here." Gavin seemed genuinely scared of Cena at that moment.

"Can I help?"
