You made your way out of the bathroom and carefully stepped downstairs, the house was silent and it worried you but you assumed everyone was asleep. You glance around carefully and walked to the door. You needed out of here.
You picked the lock and when you stared at the outside you smiled. Tears dropped as you ran out.
You ran free and cried happily. First, you ran home. Shakily knocking on the door. Your mother smiled at you when she opened it but your tear-stained phase changed your Joy into worry.
"Holy shit Y/N!" She quickly hugged you.
"What's wrong?"
You just cried in her embrace and hugged her tightly. She led you inside and sat you down on the couch, her horrified face as you explained what had happened pained you. She began crying with you as she hugged you and comforted you.

She let you sleep in the guest room and said she would take you to the police station the next morning.

The entire night you cried but for some horrible and odd reason.
You didn't want to tell the police. Yes, he murdered children, his wife, and an innocent lady but.. you felt it was wrong.
Your mind traced over to when he was up
Close to your face. You realized your heart racing, sweaty palms, the terrifying feeling wasn't fear. No... no, you liked the feeling.
When he slapped you it hurt but, you don't think he's too bad. Right? He cared for you and that was clear The shock on his face after he slapped you said enough.
Maybe you are in the wrong?
You stayed up all night
Thinking about it. You sighed and walked into your mom's room. You took the paper and a note and wrote down how you had pranked her. You left the house and sighed.

I've made a lot of mistakes in my life,

As you walked closer to the Afton house you shivered and began crying again.
Why? Why are you so confusing? You don't think he's bad but you're still terrified of him. He wouldn't kill you and you know it.
You walked inside of the house and looked up. Williams figure Terrified you.
He glared at you.
"I'm. Sorry. I was going to get help but... I decided I didn't want any.."
He looked at you. Confused.
You began crying and his expression softened as he walked towards you.
"I know you feel it too..." he muttered and pulled you closer to him

Suddenly you wake up. You feel u see your eyes they were stained with tears. You check the time it was currently 3 AM. You sigh in relief shaking a bit as you cried into your hands
What the fuck was that dream?

You spent the rest of your night trying to decide whether you had experienced a dream Or a nightmare.
You sighed and rolled over on the couch.
Why was it nice when he pulled you closer to him? Why did you... enjoy it? No no. You're just driving yourself Insane. You sighed and got up walking upstairs. You walked into Williams's room. He was laid on his bed sound asleep. He didn't have a shirt on and his hair was on his face. You walk over and use your hand to move his hair a bit revealing his eye. It was closed, looking up close you noticed his eyelashes and how long they were. You quickly snapped yourself out of it and lightly tapped his arm.
He didn't respond. You sighed and got up. It's not worth waking him up.

You walk towards the door only to hear shuffling behind you alongside a small groan from William.
"Y/n? What do you need?" He asked. You glanced back and smiled awkwardly at him. You were kinda holding back a laugh since he looked a little silly.
William was now sitting you and his hair was a mess, his eyes droopy from how tired he was and a small part between his top and bottom lip.

You shifted.
"I uh, can't sleep."
"Oh.. pills are in the bath-"
"I had a nightmare."
"Nightmare?"
You nodded and he scoffed a bit.
"I didn't think adults still got nightmares, I don't anyway."
"Well, I do." You shrugged.

"Well c'mon, tell me. What was it about?"
"Nothing I just uh.-" your hands trembled.
"You know what I'll just go get the pills."
You said and turned to the door. You go to open it and William sighs.
"Alright come here." You glanced back at him and squinted a bit to see better in the dim room. You see his arms were now held outwards toward you.
Your heart jumped.

Almost immediately with no hesitation you speed walk over to the bed and crash into him hugging him as you close your eyes. A little surprised by the unexpected impact he hugged back-patting your head.

You take the moment to enjoy the embrace and Williams's kindness knowing he could switch up.

He leaned against the wall a bit letting you lean against him as he drew circles on your back.
You easily relax onto him it felt like your stresses have disappeared. He stayed silent as he just let you rest on him.
Soon you fell asleep and you better believe it when you say that was the best sleep you've had in a long time.
