*The next day*
Layla's POV
Today is Thursday. I haven't seen Katie at all today, which is kinda weird, but whatever.
I go to first period, biology, where I see Noah? He's not in this class, but I'm not complaining.
The seat next to me is empty. It's the only one in the classroom left, besides by Josh and Dalton.
They both smell weird and annoy the shit out of everyone.
I decide to go ask him what he is doing in here.
"I had to change my schedule," he says, "because of my ADHD I can't pay as much attention to the lesson since my class before was at the end of the day," he continues, "and it also doesn't help that I just hate this class in general,"
"I get that, I love/hate having this class 1 period. It just gets annoying, everyone else has extra time during the rest of the day to finish their homework, but we don't," I say
"Yea, that must be frustrating. Anyways, where can I sit? I don't want to sit in someone else's spot," he asks.
"I have a spot empty next to me if you want, or you can sit by Dalton and Josh," I say trying not to seem too desperate.
"Is Katie not in this class? I would expect you guys to st together," he said.
"No, she's not in this class. Even if she was, she's not here today" I answer trying to keep my cool.
Oh. My. God. He pays attention to me!! He knows that me and Katie are bestfriends!! Eeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!! I NEED to text Katie!
"Noah got moved to Biology with me! And he's sitting next to meeee!!!!!!!!!!" I text her.
"That's awesome!! Have fun <3" she responds.
