Layla's POV
*After school*
I didn't think Katie would be too long so I waited outside for her.
"Finally," I say to her as she walks out of the building. "How much trouble did you get into?"
"None, she just said don't let it happen again," Katie replied
I wish Noah was here right now.
Get him out of your head and pay attention to what Katie is saying.
"Helloooo???" Katie says waving her hand infront of my face.
"Sorry, I zoned out a little bit," I say guiltily.
"I got to go check in at home, then we should go to Dairy Queen for some celebritory ice-cream," Katie suggests
"And what exactly are we celabrating?" I ask very confused.
"To celabrate the fact that I didn't get in any trouble," she says pumping her fist in the air.
She's such a dork.
"Sounds good, let's do it," I say.
"I'll come pick you up when I'm ready, and text me if u can't," she says.
"Roger that captain!" I say back.
"I love you! See you in a bit!" She yells running off.
"Love you too!" I reply
