Error was so worried about Mag. Was that guy their ex or something? He was a stalker too? They thought that was normal. What was with that guy?
Whatever, if he ever bothers them again, Error was going to-
"Error. Error! Why are looking at me like that?"
Error didn't notice he was staring at Mag before, but now that he did, he started blushing in embarrassment.
Mag had finished lunch so they could eat. The food was different this time, when they eat it, the food was absorbed instantly.
Error asked, "How is this ha-happening?"
Mag smiled, "It's monster food. I felt nostalgic today, so I used a little bit of magic from my stash to infuse the food. It's also healthier for you, but magic is expensive, so we can't do it every day."
Error wandered, "Wa-why is ma-monster food healthier for me?"
"It's simple really, bitties are monsters, so as a monster it takes a lot of energy to absorb human food which means you have to eat a lot more, but if you eat monster food you won't have to eat so much.
This is why despite the size of bitties, they have to eat so much most of the time."
Error stated, "Ya-You really know a lot about ma-monsters, don't you?"
Mag nods, "I lived with the monsters up north for years. They were my family, but I realized that a certain monster would ruin everything if I stayed."
Error asked, "which ma-monster?"
Meg sighed, "They were a non-corporeal ghost monster named Chara. They used to be human, but due to some stuff that happened in their past they became a monster.
They chose to stay invisible due to their extreme shyness, but they would constantly whisper into my ear, saying things, narrating the world around me. For a while I just thought they was my own inner voice, but Chara had a sense of humor and their own hopes & dreams.
Chara is a good person, except for one thing. They wanted our adventures to last forever, even if that meant ruining everyone's lives. I refuse to let that happen; they no longer have power over anyone now that I'm gone."
