Y/n's pov:

"Hey," I said. "why are you up, I usually have to wake you up," Hailee said and I giggled. "be quiet, plus I couldn't sleep"

"still taking in the news," She said softly and I nodded my head. "mhm"

"well you don't have to go to school if you want to since you didn't sleep and most likely you're going to sleep during your classes also you have to pack for the new house"

"wait really? I don't have to go to school today?" I perk up and smiled. "yeah," She said and I sigh. "thank you so much"

"no problem, but here's some food I don't want to be grumpy all day" She passes me a plate full of food. "damn"

"language," Hailee said. "okay Steve Rogers" Hailee giggled. "god" I start to eat breakfast and I take my phone out to text Addison.

Hey, I'm not going to school today so don't miss me too much

Addison:
Why what happened? Did someone die?

Y/n:
Something popped up so I can't go to school today and nobody died

Addison:
What popped up?

"um Hailee," I said and looked at her. "yeah?"

"I texted Addison that I'm not going to school and- here just take a look" I give her my phone and she reads the texts. "just tell her you have to help me out for the move"

"alright" I text her that and she believed me. I finish breakfast and go upstairs to my room. Then I lay on my bed scrolling on TikTok and sleep.

I wake up to my phone ringing. I look at the phone ID and it's Addison. I pick it up. "hello?"

"hey can you pick me up from school," Addi said and I sat up. "why?" I asked. "because I need someone to pick me up"

"wow I must have slept for a long time" I mumbled. "weren't you supposed to help your sister pack?"

"umm yeah but I was too tired so I just took a nap," I tell her. "okay but now can you pick me up please"

"yeah okay I'll be there in a couple of minutes," I said and smiled. "alright, I love you"

"I love you too" I end the call and go to Hailee's room and knock on the door. She opens it. "need something?"

"I just wanted you to know that I'm going to the school and I need a car," I said. "why do you need to go to the school"

"to pick Addison up," I tell her. "alright just take my car, here" She gives me her car keys. "thanks, see you soon."

"see ya" I go back to my room to get a hoodie and I go downstairs to the garage then the car.

I get to the school and text Addison that I'm here. She comes out and gets in the car. "hey"

"hi, the teachers told me to give you these" She passes me the homework for every class I had. "damn" I let out. "yeah, now let's go," She said. "seatbelt first"
