FROM THE ASHES

[Chapter_002 Forming An Alliance]

I walk back into the Cottage to wake up  Ethan, Peter, and Kusunoki, I first wake up Ethan, then the three others about Emma who is standing outside, we walk outside to see the wolf Anthro standing there Twiddling with her thumbs. I walk outside. "Oh, so you four must be the Creat-"Humans, We are called Humans." Ethan says cutting her off"  Humans, that I saw earlier... She says correcting herself. Ethan looks at me for a moment then looks back at the Anthro in front of us, but before Ethan can say anything, Peter interrupts. "So where are you from?" He asks before crossing his arms. She looks at Peter, " I'm from the kingdom of Leonait which is far from here." Ethan looked at Emma with a confused look until you spoke. "Oh, I forgot to tell you that this is her cottage," I say to  Ethan. 

Ethan looks at Emma then back at the cottage then back at Emma. EOh, uh, Sorry that we invaded your home uh-" Ethan says looking for her name. "My name is Emma." She says.  "Emma, So about that kingdom we should go there to ask your king or Queen, That we are asking that we would like to form an Alliance, so we don't get on bad terms with each other." Me, Peter, and Kusunoki look at Ethan for the thing that he said. " Ethan, Are you nuts?!?"  Kusunoki Says walking up to him "Did you forget that we just wasted those fucking royal guards back there?" I exclaim "Hey, I'm in charge of what happens, this is a good chance to get on good terms with their leader so that we can maybe become allies!"  "Yeah, let's walk into a big ass Kingdom where we could literally be killed within Mila seconds!" I yell out at him before anything can become worse. Emma intervenes. "There is a place inside the village not so far from here where a Soldier of the Queen's guard, could send a messenger to the Kingdom to tell the Queen of your arrival." we all look at Emma. "We can do that?" He asks looking at her "Yes, but you would have to show that you four are not a threat."  There are a few moments of silence before Ethan speaks "Okay then new plan, we go to the village and talk to the commanding officer of the village to send someone to talk to tell the queen about us."

"Now that sounds a lot better than just barging in," Kusunoki says looking directly at Ethan while saying it. I hear Ethan Scoff then walk over to a tree, and talk into his wrist pad to ask something.

Ethan's POV

I talk into my wrist pad to talk to the A.I. "Hey Eva. Then the AI responds. "Yes, Ethan What may I help you with?"  She asks. Please check any satellites to see if you can find a kingdom and the village near us."  

After a couple of seconds, a map appears on each of the wrist pads, showing the map of the area within a 100-mile radius, I look down at my wrist pad to see how far the Village is, I look at it and see that the Village is only a mile away. "Alright, We are moving out right now, get your equipment ready," I say looking back at everyone else. 

After Half an hour of walking, all five of you come into view of a small beautiful village. "incredible..." I hear Peter say as he looks at the village in front of us. The five of us walk towards what appears to be the gate to the pretty big village, as the five of us walk up, I see that there are two guards with spears but the five of us continue to walk towards the village, as we walk towards the village I notice that we've must have come into view of them. "HEY,  Who are you, creatures and girl?!" The Taller Wolf Anthro says. I look at Ethan and Emma, who are in front of me, but Emma is the first one to talk. "Don't worry these kind people are here to talk to your commander," Emma says. The two guards look at each other, then look back at the five of us standing there.  I can see the hesitation in their eyes, but they surprisingly let the five of us pass, as we walk past, I notice them looking at you and the three others beside Emma, but I then hear Peter gasp Which makes me turn around to see what the village looks Like from the inside, Which almost makes myself gasp, because of how the Village looks.
