A new start

Neighbours?

Once I got home I opened up the front door and closed it behind me. Because I was feeling hungry I decided to get a apple from the fruit bowl on the dinning table. When I was walking towards the stairs I noticed a note on the table, I walked over to it and read it out loud,

"Rosie I will be a bit late to get home but I would appreciate it if you could change into a dress before I get home because our neighbours will be coming over for dinner ,

love Uncle Benny. xx".

Once I finished reading the note I put it back down where I found it and headed upstairs towards my room. When I was in my room I decided to wear a short dress that came down to about my knee. It was black and white strips at the top and then it was black which puffed out, I also put on some netted black tights. I decided to go for a natural look and put some mascara on with a little bit of clear lip gloss just to finish the look.

As I was walking towards the kitchen I saw Uncle Benny sitting on the couch with a suit on waiting patiently for our guests to arrive. Just as I sat down next to him the door bell rang. I quickly stood up and made my way to the front door.

There stood in front of me was a beautiful middle aged women with her husband standing next to her.

"Hello Mrs and Mr..." I stopped not knowing what to call them.

"Oh Mitchell but please call us Susan and Michael, it's nice to meet you dear" the beautiful women said.

"Like wise" I replied.

As they walked in towards the kitchen where Uncle Benny was serving them Macaroni cheese, a boy about my age or older walked in without lifting his gaze away from his phone. But once he did I noticed the same chocolate brown eyes that always seem to mesmerise me.

Oh shit, that means he's my neighbour. Wish me luck...
