Mending whats Broken

Kk woke up early the next day. He had made arrangements for teju n him for next few days. He spoke to their managers n asked them to adjust their work n keep a week free.
He made his tea n came back to the bedroom.
He saw teju sleeping peacefully. He sat on the couch in bedroom n quietly had his tea.

His thoughts-
I will fix everything laddoo. I cant see u like this. Just trust me baby. Dont push me away. Just this once let me help me you.

He was lost in his thoughts n suddenly felt a hand on his shoulders.

Teju- Gm sunny.

Kk looked at her. That sweet smile melted his heart. Her gorgeous face looking at him with love.  She wasnt her usual bubble self but at least she was smiling.

Kk- Come here laddoo.

He made her sit on his lap n hugged her gently.

Kk- U freshen up n i will get ur hot water cup.

Teju- No its ok. I will take it later.

Kk- Dont worry about that. I will get it.

He went to kitchen to warm her water while teju freshened up.
As he came back teju was sitting on the couch.

Kk- teju i have booked a place for us for next few days. We can leave whenever u want.

Teju- But where? I really don't want to go anywhere. Can we just stay here for few days.

Kk- Ofcourse we can laddoo. This is ur house only but actually i m exhausted n really need a break.

He knew she wouldnt agree so he came up with this excuse.

Kk- I know u r not feeling ok. N i m being selfish here but can we pls go away for few days. Just u n me...??

Teju- But baby my work.. Ur work..

Kk- I have adjusted everything.

Teju- Okk. Lets go.

Teju wasnt herself. On any other day she would have resisted this plan n prioritised work n confirmed with her manager. But today she was in no mood. She just gave in. She too needed this.

They freshened up n got ready.

Teju- Sunny i dont have enough clothes. Can u go to my place n take few clothes from my cupboard. The ones here at ur place arent enough.

Kk- Ok we will go to ur place. Aunty uncle ko bhi inform karenge na baby.

Teju- Sunnyy..

Kk- Yes baby..
Teju was looking down

Teju- I dont wanna face them.. Pls will u go in?

Kk looked at her. His heart broke each time she felt so low.

Kk- Laddo i m with u. Lets go together. Plss baby.

Teju- Sunny what if...??

Kk- What if what baby???

Teju- What if they have seen those pics?

Tears escaped her eyes. Kk immediately went n hugged her.

Kk- Baby can u pls stop thinking about all that. Ur parents dont know anything about twitter. U too didnt know until 48hrs back.

Kk- Baby they r ur parents. They will always love u no matter what.

Kk- Pls trust me on this. Lets go to ur place n meet them before leaving.

Teju nodded yes. She broke the hug n went inside the washroom. She waa crying inside. Kk just knew it.
He called her mom n told her about their trip n that they would drop in for just few mins before leaving.
