you step out of the hall with ron and hermione, seeing harry walking along the wall, you tilt your head.
"did you hear it?" he asks.
"hear what?" ron questions.
you look around, "that voice" harry whispers.
"voice? what voice?" you ask,
like the one in your head? or..
he looks up, "i heard it first in lockhart's office. and then again just.." he pauses, you three look at him in confusion, "its moving. i think its going to kill"
you suppress a grin,
kill? i wanna watch!
he runs passed you, you all follow behind him.
"kill?"
"harry, wait! not so fast!" hermione calls.
harry steps out into the large hallway with you not far behind him, you look at the ground and stomp your toes down a little,
it's wet..
you three catch up to harry as he goes down the hall.
you all freeze as your gaze turns to the ground, a trail of spiders were crawling from somewhere and up the wall, out a small hole in the window.
you shudder, spiders were one thing you could not get passed.
"strange. i've never seen spiders act like that" harry points out.
"i don't like spiders" ron frowns.
you all look down the floor in confusion, in a reflection were words you couldn't quite read, since they were upside down,and backwards.
"what's that?"
you all look up, your eyes shine.
" 'the chamber of secrets has been opened. enemy of the heir.. beware' " hermione reads out from the wall.
you roll on your feet slightly, these words were most certainly written out of blood!
"it's written in blood" hermione points out also, looking up nervously.
"oh, no"
you all follow harry's line of sight, your lips part slightly in shock.
"it's filch's cat"
just as he said, hanging their from a lantern post was the same cat who had outed you when you went into the corridor last year. her mouth was open and her fur was frizzled, she was hung straight from her tail.
