I angrily paced in the room the so-called policeman had locked me in. After taking me to another man dressed in a suit, the two of them had decided I was dangerous somehow, and locked me inside a room. I sat down on the brown beanbag chair, and tried to find something to escape with. A mini-fridge, a clock, a picture of a beach... nothing. I sighed angrily. It had been more than twelve hours since I'd gotten here. Twelve furiously non-eventful hours. Those twelve hours has been filled with crying, screaming, and all sorts of hysteria until I'd surrendered. My thoughts never left SlenderMan, or what had attacked me that night. I balled my fist. There was no way they could keep me here.

Just then, the only door opened. A man in a black suit and tie stood in the doorway. "Come with me", he commanded. I was beyond the point of arguing, so I grudgingly obeyed. He led me to a car identical to the one I had been brought here in. He opened the door, and motioned for me to get in. Once I was, he shut the door, got into the drivers seat, and started down a long, narrow tunnel. We drove for nearly half an hour. I hadn't slept during all the hours I had been trapped in the room, and sleep somehow overwhelmed me in the car. Before I knew it, the driver shook me harshly with a curt "Get up." I sat up, embarrassed. Quickly taking in my surroundings, I noticed that the car was in an ordinary underground parking lot. The only thing that made it different than any other parking lot was the fact that everyone looked like they'd stepped out of a Men in Black movie. There wasn't a single person who was not wearing a black suit and tie.
The man driving the car turned it off, got out, and opened my door. "Get out", he demanded. I obeyed. "Follow me." He started walking towards one of the sliding doors lining the walls.
I followed him, all while analyzing the situation. I'm in some secret service hidden base, following a guy who couldn't be more mysterious, and yet, I didn't have a choice but to trust him. I desperately hoped he was taking me to SlenderMan.
After waking through a series of long hallways teeming with people in suits, we arrived at an ordinary elevator. The man pushed a button next to the door, and we waited. The question I had been dying to ask started forcing its way out. I tried to hold it in, but somehow it slipped. "Where are we?"
The man gave me a withering look which made me regret asking. "If I told you, then I would have to kill you." I almost laughed at the cliché-ness of it all. Almost.
The elevator doors opened up to reveal an ordinary looking elevator. The man walked inside, and I followed, dread pulsing through me with every step. He pushed the button for the second lowest level, and the doors shut.
The elevator started with a lurch, then gathered speed as it lowered. I tried not to show I was nervous, although I was half expecting the elevator to crash into the floor. Gradually, and thankfully, the elevator started slowing down.
When it finally stopped, the doors slid open to reveal a cold, concrete hallway with a door at the end. There were only a few people in it.
The man started walking, roughly pushing me forward. We made it to the door, and it opened promptly. Inside was a causal desk, with a man sitting at it. He was dressed like everyone else. The man who drove me into this place walked up to him and whispered something. The receptionist nodded, and I noticed that there was a steel door on one of the walls.
"What is the name of the creature you wish to see?", the receptionist asked me. I smarted at him calling SlenderMan a creature. "SlenderMan", I answered sharply. My driver gave me a stern look. The receptionist pushed a button on his desk, and spoke into it. "Number 75 has a visitor."
He turned to me. "You are free to go inside." The steel door opened, cold air suddenly filling the room. I looked at it, my heart thumping like a bass drum. I took a deep breath, and stepped through the entrance.
I hoped SlenderMan was okay.
