Rick dropped Alex off a few blocks away. "Just call me when you want to be picked up." He said, shifting into drive again. Alex nodded and watched as he drove off. Alex walked a little ways before she was joined by Chase and Mack.
"Hey!" Mack said excitedly. Alex smiled, "Hey!" She said. Chase rolled his eyes. "I don't get why girls get so excited over a stuff like this." He said shaking his head, his smile flashing in the late evening light. "Well if you just want to complain, you can always leave."
"Who said I was complaining?" He said with a smirk. Alex snickered at her bickering friends. Pretty soon they were met by a giant crowd of people, waiting to get in. They got in line, Mack and Chase were still arguing. Alex rolled her eyes. "Can you two just be quiet for one minute!?" Alex yelled.
Suddenly, a boy a few years older than Alex with very dark, almost black hair walked up to us. He looked streight at Alex and smiled. "Why hello." He said. Alex scowled. "Hey." She muttered. Before she had time to blink, the boy was beside her, his hand around her waist. Alex tried to move away, but he kept a tight grip on her waist. "What's the rush?" He asked. "Hey! Leave her alone!" Chase growled, his eyes sparking with anger. The boys smirked, looking at Chase. "What, are you her boyfriend?" He sneered. Alex growled and elbowed him in the gut. He winced letting her go. Chase took his opportunity to punch him in the face, sending him running.
"Are you okay?" He asked, his green eyes sparking with worry. Alex smiled. "Are you okay? You look like you're about to have a heart attack." Chase blushed. Mack laughed, which only made him redder.

After a while they got up to the ticket counter and gave the man their tickets. the space was already packed with people, they had to yell to hear each other. Alex looked toward the giant stage and saw a few people standing there doing a final check on the equipment.
It wasn't long before they started. Everyone was laughing and singing along. Alex's throat was already soar from trying to talk to her friends, but she sang along anyway, knowing the words to every song. Mack was just as excited and sang and screamed until she literally lost her voice.
When the concert was over, Alex's ears still rang. Mack still couldn't talk, and every attempt at at a word ended in a throaty squeek. "Maybe you should rest your voice for a while." Alex suggested, trying not to laugh. "That would be a releif." Chase said with a smirk, who then received an elbow in the gut.
Just then, a searing pain went through her head. She cried out in pain, suddenly dizzy. Chase steadied her, her back pressed against his chest. He blushed. "Alex! Are you okay?!" Mack rasped. The pain in Alex's head died down to a tolerable ache. She awkwardly moved away from Chase, blushing herself. "Yeah, I'm fine." "You don't look fine." Chase said, concerned. Alex pulled out her phone, dialing Rick's number. "Hey can you come pick me up?" Alex asked. "Yeah, are you okay?" He aswered. "Yeah, I'm just tired." Alex said.
Chase and Mack exchanged a look. "Alex, what just happened?" Chase asked. Alex turned to him. "Uhh... the noise must be affecting my head..." Alex said. Chase still looked suspicious, but didn't question her further.
When Rick pulled up, she waved goodbye to her friends and got in the car. Her arm was sore now. She winced. Rick seemed to notice. "What happened?" He asked. Alex sighed. "I have no idea. We were walking and my head suddenly felt like it got hit or something."
Rick's eyebrows furrowed. "Weird." He said, but didn't press the issue any more.
