The ground around us blew into a whirlwind. I looked up just as our transport lowered beside us.

"Master," I called out, "They're here!"

Revan turned from Master Alek, then he reached down picking up the helmet that belonged to the General. Master Alek let a shear creep across his face.

"For you, or for them?" He asked.

"Them," Revan said, "I am sure they'll want proof the General's dead."

Master Alek gave him a nod, and we all headed to the transport.

When we arrived on the Star Destroyer, the hanger guards directed us in, and we landed safely. My Master looked back at me before we stepped out on to the hanger.

"You've done well today, my young Padawan." He praised me.

I studied his face to see if he actually meant it. But I smiled nonetheless. "Thanks to your training, my Master."

We stood a little while longer on the ramp leading onto the hanger of the Star Destroyer. Watching as our crew filed out to the hanger. I glanced up at my Master, who had his hands folded, holding his mask in his hands. He was focused on the crew leaving the transport. I let my eyes drop to my hands which hung enclosed within my sleeves. I shifted to feel the weight of my lightsaber hanging from my belt. I liked to feel my lightsaber, just the fact that it was there. That I am actually a part of the Jedi Order brought a smile to my face.

I felt a hand lay on my shoulder, I looked up to see my Master looking down at me.

"Ready?" He asked.

I nodded, and we headed off the ramp towards the bridge.

Once we arrived on the bridge. Master Alex was already there standing beside the Admiral of the Star Destroyer. My Master quickened his pace towards them. I assumed he was hoping Master Alex did not say anything out of line.

Master Alex held out his arms to us. "Revan!" He shouted across the room, then he looked at me. "And Padawan, come, talk with us!"

I followed closely behind my Master. We stood beside Alex and the Admiral, watching the defenses escaping the fire of our gunships. My Master stood up straight, crossing his arms over his broad chest.

"So this is it." My Master broke the silence.

"So it seems," The Admiral said, "but there is yet more to come, Master Revan."

Revan nodded. The Admiral turned to face Revan.

"What is the status of the battle?" he asked.

"The battle was won," Revan motioned to one of the soldiers who were with us when we killed the Mandalorian General.

The soldier rushed forward and pulled out of a box the helmet of the General; handing it to Revan. My Master took the helmet from his hands.

"The Generals helmet," he said, holding it out for the Admiral to see. "My Padawan saved my life from this Mandalorian."

I looked up at my Master and gave him a slight smile. He had barely praised me like this before. It was entirely strange to me. He gave me a wink.

Soon enough we were all called back to Dantooine to go before the Council, and fill them in on the details of what took place. Going before the Council was slightly different from discussing the battle with the Generals and Admirals than with the Jedi Council. They are more sensitive with these subjects. There are many Jedi who think we shouldn't take part in any of the wars. They believe we are only to protect the peace, not cause war. Then there are those who believe we have to fight to bring peace. My Master is definitely one of those. I am not sure which category I fall into. I haven't fully decided yet. All I know is that I must follow my Master, and let him teach me the way he sees fit. And I think I am turning out quite well. Even if he doesn't normally teach me all that much. A lot of time I watch how the other Masters teach their Padawans and learn from them. The other Padawans have told me I should go before the Jedi Council and request a new Master. But I refuse. Revan has grown important to me, and I would not be able to give him up. I would not trust anyone else.
