"RUNA GET UP!" My mom yells across the whole house. I groan not wanting to go to school, but do I have a choice? No. I stumble out of my bed and walk over to my mirror. I put my brown hair into a messy bun and got into black tights with a tank top with a red plaid jacket and my combat boots. I put on thick eyeliner with black lipstick. I look at my outfit in the mirror, do a little spin and walk out my door. I walk down the stairs and into the kitchen. I see my mom packing my lunch. Cucumber sandwiches with crackers and a juice pouch. I pour myself a bowl of cereal and begin to eat. "So mom, the circus that we went to is in town and they're performing tonight, and I was wondering if I and my friend could go?" I look at my mom with hope. She stares at the floor trying to make a decision. "Okay, I guess just be back once it's done and make sure that your phone is fully charged so you can get a hold of me in case of an emergency." I smiled at her with the biggest one I had ever made." I scoff my cereal down, grab my lunch and my backpack and run out the door. But guess what? Just as I open the front door I see the bus going straight past my house! I run outside and yell trying to get the bus driver's attention. No luck. I spot a street light, I place my lunch in my backpack and run at the light. I climb up it like it's nothing, not to mention that I had been practicing my acts since I was seven. I was now on top of the light. I watched the bus turn to the next stop. I look at the next street light, only eight feet away, easy! I prepare myself for the leap, and then I jump. I stand up and jump to the next one. I almost slipped because of the weight of my backpack but I caught myself. I looked at the bus, it was heading to the next big stop. If I keep up the pace I should be able to get to the stop just before the bus leaves. I continue to jump onto the lights. What was coming up I did not expect. There was a turn in the road, the curve added three more feet to the jump, fortunately, it was next to the stop. I leaped at the light, but instead of landing on my feet I used my hands and caught myself and swung down. The bus was about to leave when I hopped on. "Runa!" the bus driver yelled my name, crap he caught me! "Are you tracking MUD onto my bus!?" he yells. I kick the dirt off my shoes and sit down in an empty seat. I didn't have many friends, and my one bestie was three grades above me and was now in high school leaving me in sixth grade. I do get lonely sometimes but most of the time it's not a problem. I'm known as the "weird" kid, I'm always bending my body into weird positions and climbing on anything I think is a challenge, for instance, last week a kid dared me to climb up the flagpole and hang a SpongeBob flag on it. I did it, but I got suspended for a week and had detention for three days. Once we got to school I stopped by my locker to put my backpack in it and I was on my way to the first period. I sit down on my chair and hold myself up on the chair using one hand. "Ms. Demi, please sit in your chair normally." my teacher says. I grumble and sit down properly. My first period is ASP. I have everything done so I can do whatever I want (Within reason) I go onto Pinterest and search up aerialist acts. Next thing I know it's the next period. I walk over to Audrey Scott and sit down next to them. They've been my friend for a while. I gaze into their olive-green eyes, she catches me and I turn away, face red like a tomato.

The thing was, I had had a crush on them since fourth grade or something like that. Soon enough the teacher starts talking about something, I wasn't paying attention, oh well. The day went by fast, soon enough I was at home getting ready to go see the show. I grabbed my bag, double-checked that my phone was in there and I ran downstairs. As I was about to walk out the door, my mom stopped me. "Runa, listen. I don't feel comfortable with you going to see the show." I could already feel tears in my eyes. "I saw two men that worked for the show, ugh, ki-kissing!" I knew my mom was homophobic, but I think this was a bit dramatic. "It's disgusting and I don't want you to be around people like that cause you might be exposed and become infected." I could not believe what I was hearing. Exposed!? Infected!?!? I had buckets of tears flowing down my face, but now not because of sadness, but anger! "WHAT WOULD YOU DO IF I WAS ALREADY!?" I yelled at her out of frustration. "Well, I would kick you out! It's disgusting." She says. I run up the stairs and slam my door. I grab my backpack and start shoving random clothes in and things that I need. I put my backpack on and walk out of my room. I stomp down the stairs. As I walk into the kitchen my mom asks what the heck I was doing. "You said you would kick me out if I was gay so here! Kick me out!" I yell at her. She looks at me in disgust and literally kicks me out by pushing out the door with her foot!
