Thanks, honestly.

Thank you, honestly.
For giving me a clue.
For helping me see that what I needed,
Never existed in you.
Thanks for never saying happy birthday,
Or never being sorry for anything wrong.
Thanks for opening my eyes,
To the things I couldn't see all along.
Thank you, honestly.
For showing me the man that you are.
For showing me so much,
While I observed from afar.
Thanks for never caring,
Never putting me first.
Thanks for showing me,
That you truly are the worst.
Thanks for blowing me off,
Thanks for giving me a clue.
Thanks for showing me exactly,
How I meant nothing to you.
Thanks for making me realize,
That I deserve way better for myself.
And the things you wouldn't give me,
I can find in someone else.
And no I don't mean benefits,
Just to meet my needs
Like the grown ass woman that I am,
Let me maturely proceed:
Thanks for having no emotions,
When that's exactly what I craved.
Because when you showed me this you,
I dodged a bullet, got saved.
Thanks for being a jerk-off.
A personal thanks from me to you.
Because you showed me exactly,
What I needed to do.
Thanks for pushing me away,
When I might've needed you the most.
And for treating me like nothing more,
Than an invisible ghost.
I thank you for these things,
For being so rude.
Because eventually I'll find the opposite
In another dude.
But thanks for teaching me though,
What to really look for in a guy.
Everything you didn't give me,
Is everything I will apply
To when I finally find someone,
Who is actually worth it all.
Someone who I can trust,
And won't be afraid to fall.
Someone who will respect me,
Treat me like a human being.
Thank you, honestly.
For showing me these things.

For A. G. Thank you sir.
