I wish

I WISH

I'm not bringing up bad memories,

Just remembering how I let go.

I've got this scar left from where you cut me open,

I thought that you should know.

I'm completely over you now,

But some pain is still here.

And when I lok back I dont know how,

I made it through those years. 

And you know what's the worst about it?

You never even knew.

You don't know how much pain and suffering,

That you've put me through.

And even though it's wrong,

I still hate you quite a bit.

I probably always will,

You might not ever know it.

You don't have a clue,

Of what you did to my heart so long ago.

The way you mangled and mutilated,

The things I couldn't show.

What I felt for you was serious,

It wasn't a joke or a game.

I just wish you could have understood,

The way that love behaves.

I just wish that for one day,

You could experience what you made me feel.

It took about two years and a half,

For my wounds to comepletely heal.

And I loved you so mych,

The way that my soul longed...

You could never understand,

The way you did me wrong.

I just wish you understood,

The ways you've made me change.

From the highest points of love,

To the deepest levels of pain.
