Rule Breakers(Miku x Rin)

Chapter 4

A/N: Hey guys sorry I haven't added to this fic in a while, I had to do a lot of state-standardized tests. I'm back, though!

Rin's POV:
       Once I hear the bell ring I rush to get home. Not waiting for Len, Miku, or anyone. I swiftly hop on the bus and pick a seat that I don't usually sit in, slightly hoping that Miku won't sit next to me and somehow find out how I'm feeling.

       Miku ends up not sitting next to me (as I'd hoped) and the bus engines rev up, driving us home from hell.
       I'd usually just make a joke like that to Miku, but I can't bring myself to talk with her right now.

       We arrive at our stop. I rush off of the bus and start booking it back home.

Len's POV:
       As I slowly get off of the bus, I look around for my twin. How dare she throw a paper airplane at me! I can't seem to find her at all.

       I turn to Miku to try to find answers. "Hey, where's Rin?"
      "Oh gosh," she responds, "I think I might've seen her start running home. Usually we chat and walk."
       OH NO. RIN WAS RUNNING? This is seriously not good, Rin is the clumsiest person I know, she's gonna trip on an atom!

       "Uhh, thanks. Bye." I tell Miku, starting to run after Rin. I can't let her make mom pay another $3,000 Emergency Room bill.

Rin's POV:
       I keep running home, not caring about anyone who may be running after me. I just wanna get home and think about how I feel, I have no clue if my crush on Miku will affect our solid 10-year friendship.

       Suddenly, I feel something catch onto my foot, launching me forward. As I'm falling, someone grabs my backpack, preventing my fall.
       I hear a familiar voice. "RIN YOU STUPID IDIOT WHY WOULD YOU EVER CONSIDER RUNNING? I HOPE YOU HAVE THAT HOSPITAL BILL MONEY BECAUSE MOM SURE AIN'T PAYING FOR IT!" Of course Len caught me. I was hoping for a romantic moment with Miku, but I guess we can't all get what we want.

I get up and apologize to Len for being stupid. We continue to walk the rest of the way home.
Len and I make it back home and I set my stuff down. I guess I should face my horrible fears and ask Len about how I'm feeling.

"Hey, Len," I start, "can I ask you a question?"

His stupid face looked so clueless after I said that. Why would I ever ask him a question? "Uh, yeah, why wouldn't you be able to?"

"Just shut up for a second, god! Anyway, I think I might be gay. I decided to ask you because you are most likely gay and might know how to handle these kinds of emotions."

"That's it, I'm not surprised about anything you say anymore." My brother responds to me, unphased, "Anyway, I guess just ask out whoever you're crushing on. I dunno man, why do you think that I know what to do?"

I should've known I can't trust my brother with anything. I'm not just gonna go and ask Miku out on a date, she might not like me and then our friendship would be over! Ugh, what am I going to do...
