Panic Attack

TW: Jay has a panic attack
[Jay still hasn't recovered from nadakhan's meddling and his boyfriend and girlfriend try to comfort him]

Jay twisted and turned in his sleep, groaning as if he were in pain. Cole gets up from between him and Nya and looks over his shoulder to notice he was sweating. Cole nudges Nya and he begins to call his name, trying to wake him up.

"Jay, Jay wake up! What's wrong?" Cole said, almost yelling. Jay gasps, opening his eyes and he shot up, taking in short and heavy breaths. His eyes were wide and he looked frantically around the room as if to look for something.

"N-nya? Nya! Where are you?" Jay could barely get the words out of his mouth and he began shaking.

"I'm here, darling." She suddenly realized what he was dreaming about. She got up and walked over to him. She wrapped her arms around him. "I'm still here, I'm okay, alright? It was a dream, I'm still alive." Jay clung onto her, almost seeming to slightly gasp with each breath he took. Cole reaches for Jay's side and the smaller panicked man jumps up and gives him a cold dead stare.

"Hey buddy, it's me! What's wrong?" Jay shook his head, frantically. As if to deny it was his own boyfriend talking to him.

"He's having a panic attack, try being quiet." she whispered. Cole sighs heavily, the sounds of Jay's sobbing made his heart ache, and he carefully places his fingers onto Jay's hair. He flinched a bit but steady himself and let out another breathless gasp. Cole slowly ran his finger through his hair and Jay closed his eyes and pressed his head into Nya's shoulder, trying to steady his breathing.

"C-cole?" He muttered.

"Yeah, what's up?" It's almost as if Cole caressing him brought him back into reality. He finally breaks into a weak sob. Cole presses himself against Jay's back, joining the hug as well. Nya looks up and Cole, who was beyond confused at his boyfriend's sudden panic attack. "What happened? Why did he think you were dead?" Nya only shakes her head and sighs.

"I'll explain in the morning."
