[I realized like halfway into this that this was centered more around Maya and Nya so yeah, mother-daughter talk!]

The doorbell rang, waking up Jay. He looked around, he had fallen asleep on the couch with Cole and Nya sleeping next to him. His heart skipped a beat. He was supposed to be watching Flint! He shook Cole, frantically.

"Cole! Cole! Cole–! I lost Flint! I fell asleep, I didn't mean–!"

"Man, will you shut up? Flint's sleeping!" Jay leaned over Cole to see there was Flint. Curled up in his arm with his entire hand in his mouth. Jay quickly moves his tiny hand away from his mouth.

"He's gonna suffocate like that."

"No he won't. You're overreacting." Cole groaned and went back to his sleeping position. The doorbell rang once again before Jay could start scolding him. "Besides. Flint can only crawl, and we got Kai, Zane and Lloyd here. They ain't going nowhere." Jay rolled his eyes and went over to the door and opened it. There was a woman standing in the doorway.

"Can I help you?"
"Hi Jay! It's me, Maya! Nya's mom?" Jay went pale and felt the air in his chest being punched out of him.
"Oh ahahaha! Hi Mrs. Smith, what do you need?"

"I just wanted to come visit Nya and Kai. It's been so long and y'know, I'm not imprisoned anymore."

"Yeah...why didn't you give a heads up?" Jay laughed nervously, trying to close the door.

"Oh I wanted to surprise them!"

"Ehehehe not all surprises are good surprises." He said to himself.

"Hm?"

"Nothing! I'll go get—I mean see if she or Kai are here!"

"If they're not, I'll wait. I hope you boys don't mind having me around for a while!" Jay nodded and then promptly shut the door. He pressed himself against the door and whispered.

"Maya is here!"

"Who?" Cole whispered back. Flint was already awake and laughing.

"SH! Don't make him laugh! Mrs. Smith is here!"

"Shit—Uh, what do we do?!"

"I don't know! Wake Nya up? Should we just leave?"

"No no! I think she'll understand, she seems like the type of person who would want to be a grandmother, no?"

"Maybe having two son-in-laws is on her bucket list too. Great thinking you pile of pebbles."

"I will ape shit on you if you don't stop—" Nya groaned, interrupting their bickering.

"Will you two shut up? I'm trying to sleep."

"Nya!" Jay said, still in a whisper.

"Oh my fucking—what? What's wrong? What happened? Why are the two of you whispering and yelling?"

"Nya? Is that you?" Maya called from behind the door. "It's me! Your mother!" Nya froze dead in her tracks and then buried her face into her hands and she winced.

"Hey hey, calm down. We'll just tell her you're tired because you recently had Flint and he's been very difficult at night—"

"You don't understand! My mom doesn't know I had Flint and—"

"Yeah we know! That's why I'm stressed too!" Jay interrupted her. Nya frowned, irritated that Jay had cut her off. She stood up.

"She also doesn't know I have two boyfriends. Let alone know I have a boyfriend!"

"Boyfriends?!" Cole said appalled. "Husbands! We're married! How does she not know we're married?"

"Hello? I can hear you guys whispering! Is something wrong?" Maya spoke again.

"Ah shit. I'm coming, mom!" Nya yelled out at her. "Listen, just sit down. I'm sure everything will be fine. Now just sit down with Flint, don't even think about hiding him!"

"B-but wait—I don't want to sit down with Flint in front of your mother!" Jay whimpered, trembling a bit. "I don't want to be the one yelled at!"

"Oh well too bad!" Cole said, pushing him gently so as to not harm their son. "Fatherhood comes with its hardships; that includes screaming grandmas."

"Cole! There will be no screaming grandmas!" Nya scolded him. She opened the door and slightly flinched at the sunlight.

"Nya! You look awful!" She said with a huge smile on her face and hugging her. "It's been so long! How's Kai and the others? Are you alright, you look really tired." Nya sighed and rubbed her eyes.

"I haven't slept in the past like...8 months?" Nya gestured to her mother to come inside but she didn't move. She was far more concerned with her daughter.

"Well dear god, why?" Nya sighed, preparing herself for whatever reaction her mother could have.

"I...eh well, first of all I got married like 3 years ago–"

"What! And you never told me?"

"This was before we found out you and dad were alive." Maya's expression turned into a sympathetic one.

"You got divorced didn't you?"

"What, dear god no."

"What does that have to do with anything?"
"Okay so like, I have two husbands."

"What–!"

"Sh! No no no, let me finish, mom. I haven't been sleeping for the past 8 months because I had a baby."

"What! Why didn't I know any of this–? Two husbands? A baby? Nya look at me." Maya placed her hand on Nya's shoulder and she made eye contact. "Have you been drinking?"
"What no—mom?"

"I've had times where your father gets tipsy and then starts talking about own corporations that don't exist–he says weird things, okay? Why didn't you tell me any of this?"

"I never found the time and I wasn't sure if I should even tell you then I got pregnant and it just, ugh. I'm sorry." Nya hung her head, just wanting to go back to bed.

"It's fine! Don't worry about it, I know this now."

"You don't mind me having two husbands?" Nya asked, a bit timidly.

"What I mind is that you didn't tell me you were having a baby." Nya sighed and nodded. "Are your husbands here now?" She nodded again.

"You wanna meet them and Flint?" Maya nodded excitedly. "Cole, Jay! My mom wants to meet you two and the baby!" Maya walked into the living room and excitedly greeted her sons in laws and her grandson. While Nya had thrown herself onto the couch and had quickly fallen asleep.
