I stand up suddenly, legs still shaking  I walk towards the exit of the bathroom, but he grabs my wrist.

"What do you think you're doing?" he asks.

"I'm going to find my way home."

Sunwoo lets a dry laugh escape from his mouth. "You're not leaving that easily."

My stomach drops.

"I told you before, I don't do free favors." He says.

I muster up the courage to say: "W-why should I?"

"Because I said so." Sunwoo leans against the sink.

I stare at him for a second before turning and making a run for it.

Who knows what his real intentions are. He is a vampire after all. He's a monster.

But I don't make it very far--only to the end of the hallway, before the dark cloud flashes in front of me, and Sunwoo appears right by my side.

How is he so fast??

The boy's smirk is gone, and he's wearing a scowl, something that doesn't look good for my sake.

In fact, I've never been so genuinely terrified by someone's gaze before.

Sunwoo pushes me against the wall, slamming his hands on either side. He leans his face down to be inches away from mine and says, "I suggest you keep quiet and obey me. I won't be so nice next time."

I squint my eyes and lean back as far as I can, but when I open my eyes again he's stepped away, straightening his black tie.

"Dae." he calls out to one of his servants, and a normal human looking like person appears by his side. "Get her ready. We're leaving in ten."

"Yes, sir." Dae says and Sunwoo exits down the hallway, a cloud of moodiness hanging over him.

I stay stuck to the wall, absolutely stunned. Never have I met such a demanding, scheming person like Sunwoo.

I thought he was kind for saving my life, but turns out he had his own motives.

"Miss." Dae calls out, beckoning me from the wall. He looks slightly older than Sunwoo and I, and unlike the others, he wears kind eyes. But he looks like he has been through some stuff.

I slowly walk towards him, and Dae gives a sympathetic look.

He leads me to the second floor and into a room with a giant closet and mirror. A styling room.

"W-what's this for?" I ask. "Where are we going?"

"Mr. Kim has an important business dinner he would like you to attend." Dae answers.

"A business dinner?" I ask, and a weight lifts off my shoulders. I thought he was taking me to the torture room.

"Yes. Now we must get you ready. People cannot recognize you as an angel, or else you will be killed." Dae says, sitting me down in the chair.

"Why? Don't they like angels?" I ask.

"Put it this way," Dae says. "How do people in your world think if they saw a good witch and an evil spell caster get married?"

"They would be isolated immediately. Spell casters are dangerous, and can be a threat to the kindness of our world." I say quickly.

"Precisely. It's the same idea around here."

"But angels do no harm!" I say worriedly.

"Maybe not, but there is still prejudice against anything that comes from a different world where views are different." Dae explains.
