The black silk nightgown fits like a glove. Knee length and thin strapped and lined with lace on the edges. I step out of the bathroom and wander down the gloomy hallway, unsure of where to go.

"There you are." A chilling voice calls out behind me. I turn around to meet the eyes of Kim Sunwoo. It's strange seeing him in a casual T shirt and sweatpants. It doesn't make him any less intimidating though.

"I- I wasn't sure... where I should sleep." I say quietly.

"What do you mean?" sunwoo says, walking towards me and placing his cold hand on my bare back. "You're in my room."

"Y-your room?? But there are like millions of rooms in this place," I point out.

"They're all occupied by my employees. Or would you rather sleep in the cold basement where we keep the victims?" Sunwoo asks, and I'm not sure if he's joking or not.

"No, no this is fine." i say quickly.

"I thought so," he opens the tall slim door. Inside his room there is a huge bed with dark blue bedding, a walk in closet, and a ceiling to floor bookshelf. but best of all there is a door leading out to a balcony overseeing the city.

"Wow." I breathe out.

"Make yourself at home," Sunwoo says, walking to his closet. He faces the other way and slips his shirt over his head. I can't help but stare at his fit formed figure, and his small waist. But when he catches sight of me in the mirror I glance away, walking over to the balcony.

I hesitantly open it, hit with the cold breeze of the night, but it feels nice. Almost like I can breathe for the first time today. The balcony is small, maybe five people could fit on it, but it's perfect for staring at the blinking lights of the city.

"Beautiful isn't it." Sunwoo's voice cuts through my silence.

"Mhm," I say, not looking back at him. the wind blows my long now dark hair away from my face, and I close my eyes for a second, imagining I'm not here. I'm back in my old house in my world. Where everything was peaceful and familiar.

When I open my eyes Sunwoo is next to me, staring at my face.

For a split second his eyes soften and I take advantage of the moment to ask, "Why did you help me?"

His jaw clenches and his cold gaze returns.

"because I needed you for my plan." Sunwoo says, and leans off the balcony railing to stand directly behind me, resting his hands on either side of me.

He slowly traces along the scars running down my shoulder blades, and I shiver more from his touch than the cold weather.

"But now that the dinner is over and done with... I have no use for you." He says in a low voice.

I swallow at his close proximity.

"I'm still deciding... but tomorrow I might throw you back on the streets. So don't act like you're all special just because I saved your ass. And don't pry into my private life." Sunwoo says harshly. His voice could cut right through me.

"Sorry," I choke out.

Sunwoo grabs my shoulders and turns me so I'm facing him. "But then again..." he slowly traces his finger up my back to my jawline and tilts my face up towards him. "... maybe I could make some use of you."

I swallow.

Sunwoo parts his lips and looks me up and down. But he lets go and turns away suddenly.

"We should go in. It's getting late." he says and walks back into his room.
