"What exactly am I doing again?" I ask. Me, Sunwoo, Changmin, Hyunjae, Juyeon, and a few other of Sunwoo's workers are in the van on our way to a mission.
"You're the distraction." Sunwoo explains.
"You're using me as bait?" I frown,
"Yes." Changmin answers from the front seat. "They're using us as bait."
"Don't tell me I'm paired with him," I say.
"I'm sorry, but Hyunjae and Juyeon are going through the back entrance and the only one I trust to be on their own is me." Sunwoo says, double checking some papers.
"What do we have to do?" I sigh.
"Just pretend to get along," Sunwoo says. "Just this once."
"And why do I have to wear this?" I motion to the skin tight dark green dress I was assigned.
"We're crashing a cocktail party." Sunwoo says. "It looks good on you,"
"Really?"
"No." Changmin answers.
"Please, you two, it's very important that they think you're a couple so we can slip past and get to the security room," Sunwoo says.
"I can do my job, but I don't know if she can," Changmin says.
"Wanna bet?" I ask.
"Focus." Juyeon speaks up.
"We're here," the driver announces.
We all get out of the van and begin walking towards the office looking building.
"I'm nervous," I admit to Sunwoo.
He glances down at me, "You'll do fine. It won't take long anyway, and we have eyes and ears on you and Changmin so if something goes wrong I'll be there in two seconds."
"Okay," I take a deep breath. How did I even get roped into this.
I tug the short dress as far as it will go and we separate paths in pairs, Sunwoo going alone.
"I can't believe I got stuck with you," Changmin says as we walk up the front entrance. He's wearing a sharp black and white suit.
"You think I'm happy about this?" I scoff.
"Whatever, let's just get through this and agree to never stand this close to each other again," Changmin says.
"Fine with me." I say.
"Okay then," Changmin says with a fake smile. "Let's go,"
He grabs my hand and says, "Your hands are so sweaty."
"I'm so sorry that I'm nervous about going on a first mission not to mention with you." I say sarcastically.
"Oh damn, well don't worry, next time our entire company is at risk of a crisis we'll be sure to be considerate of your nerves." Changmin rolls his eyes.
"What's the emergency anyway?" I ask.
"Someone got a hold of important information and we have to delete it before they see it." he answers as we approach the front entrance.
"Ah,"
"Five minutes. That's all we have to last, and don't forget to smile," he whispers.
"Welcome, may I see your tickets?" a guard at the front door says.
Changmin hands him a silver piece of paper.
"This is only for one person," The guard says.
"Ah, but it says, 'Plus 1'. Do you see that? Plus one, meaning, she is my plus one," Changmin rests his hand on my back, I grimace when he touches my shoulder blade.
