Chapter 10

After their romantic getaway, Taehyung and Jennie were now driving back to the farm and this was after Taehyung had asked permission from Mr.Kang to borrow the car.

Both held unto each other's hand, enjoying the new phase of their relationship.

"Did you enjoy our mini date?" Taehyung asked her

"Of course. Who would've thought we came from archenemies to lovers." Jennie replied.

"Yah..did you really see me as an archenemy?"

"Of course. You were a rude bastard back then."

"I'm sorry."

"Yah...that was all before I knew who you really are."

They passed by a very zigzag road admiring the trees and daffodils.

Everything was going smoothly until a car that was running so fast went towards their direction.

Taehyung was trying to control his grip on the steering wheel as he tried to avoid the car but still the car went towards their direction.

The headlights of the car became blinding to them to the point that they both closed their eyes ready to meet their death.

And then, the car made created a huge impact to them.

Police cars surrounded that very scene and they found the one who drove it.

They handcuffed him and interrogated him.

"Jebal...I-I regret doing this..I don't have a choice, I had to get an amount of money for my family."

"Who told you to do this?" One of the policemen asked.

The guy was shivering so much and his head had a trace of blood.

"I-It's his uncle, M-Mr.Min." The guy blurted out the truth.

The policemen listed Mr.Min on one of their suspects as the guy handed them the receipts of their calls and messages.

At this point, Mr.Kang and the rest of the bodyguards arrived at the scene.

They swiftly went out from their cars and rushed to Taehyung.

They were confused as to whose body they were going to take.

But his father will surely question if they wouldn't take his real body.

They called 911 and two ambulance vehicles arrived.

"The body of this girl shall be taken to the nearest hospital near Gukdong Farm.  Please call her parents in her mini cellphone." Mr.Kang instructed the other ambulance driver.

Taehyung and Jennie's bodies were carried by the nurses up to the ambulance.

A week later....

Jennie's grandmother cried endlessly while holding the hands of Jennie who was very unconscious.

She was the only family left.

As she was busy grieving, she felt a finger of Jennie moving slight.

Then her eyes fluttered opened.

Her grandmother's eyes lit up in happiness, she kissed her hand endlessly.

"NURSES! MY GRANDDAUGHTER IS FINALLY CONSCIOUS!" Her grandmother shouted.

Then the nurses came rushing in.

Her grandmother smiled in relief

Meanwhile on Taehyung's side, his finger moved as well and his eyes opened.

His father and mother noticed this and called up the nurses.

Just like the scene in Jennie's, the nurses came rushing in.

Both of them fully regained their consciousness.

But both realized something.

It feels as if they were back in their normal lives.

Back in their...

Normal bodies.

Taehyung and Jennie looked at themselves, realizing that they were in their original bodies.

Both smiled forgetting about the people in their surroundings who looked at them in confusion.

On Jennie's side, she held her grandmother's hand so tight.

"Halmeoni...I'm glad I could see you like this again." Jennie said.

"I'm very happy too..I thought I'd lose you forever."

"You won't lose me. Your granddaughter is strong you know."

Meanwhile on Taehyung's side, his father sat beside him.

"I never should've let you go unto that immersion."

"No...it's fine dad."

"I didn't know your uncle could do such horrendous acts towards you. He deserves to rot in jail."

"Uncle?"

"Yes..apparently he's the one who set up that accident. His son is currently in questioning as well."

"Damn. I knew it, there was something off about him."

"Setting that aside, I am glad Tae...I'm relieved that you are fine. I'm sorry for being so hard on you.'  His father told him.

"Tae...my dear son, you can stop going to that farm from now on...stay back here and fulfill your duties." His mother said

He smiled after his mini heart to heart talk with his parents, but at the same time..he feels something was missing.

Jennie also feels empty while lying down on her bed.

They both were thinking of each other.

Jennie, where are you?....Taehyung thought.

Tae...I hope you're fine...Jennie thought.
