Chapter 10

Christian POV

"I'm Nico her brother." He repeats.

I knew Naomi told me she had a half brother but she didn't mention how pale he is and the dark clothing doesn't help his case.
"How'd you find me?" Naomi asks after a moments silence.
"You told J you'd be here-" started the guy next to Nico.
"Yeah but its been a few days since I've been gone and I wasn't here."
"We've been keeping an eye on this place and when we heard about the monster attack we came straight here." Continues the guy. "I'm LB."
"Naomi, where have you been the past few days?" Asked Nico.
"Its not important." Naomi replies.
"It is important! You used a lot and I mean A LOT of energy that night and then you disappear!? You know how worried J was and Will and me?" Nico says calming down on his last sentence.
"Zeus killed my family. How can I stay at the camp connected to him and be okay?" Naomi says in a way that sounded like she was close to braking down. Nico's expression softened. He moved forward and grabbed her shoulders.
"I know how hard it is. You know about Bianca." Naomi nods. "I left too but it didn't help. I became happy again once I let people in once I embraced this life. You're part of this life no matter what you do to try to convince yourself your not."
"Why should I go back? Its clear the gods don't want me there." Naomi says.
"Actually Zeus is the only god that doesn't want you there." Said Nico.
"Well that makes it so much better." She says sarcastically.
"Look Naomi not every god is going to like you. Your lucky that most do." Nico continues.
"Give me one reason I should go back to camp." Naomi says defiantly.
"Its safer. You have people who care about you there like J and I. And because of him." He points at me.
"What did I do?" I ask confused. Him and LB look at me questionily.
"You don't know?" Asked LB.
"Don't know what?" I ask.
"You don't know either?" He asked Naomi.
"Know what?" She more demanded then asked.
"He's a demigod too." LB says matter of factly.
"What?" Naomi and I say both shocked.
