Chapter 18

-in the big house-
"A Roman demigod?" asked Chris, "There's a difference between demigods?"
"Yes!" I say, "Next you're going to ask if the Roman and Greek gods ruled in the same era."
"J calm down now," warned Chiron. "I suppose we must arrange a trip for you to go to your camp."
"Wait I can't stay here?" he says sounding a little nervous then glances at Naomi who is very quiet and has been since Christian has been claimed.
"Chiron will you be gathering a group of campers to take him?" she asks speaking up for the first time.
"Well it is what I had in mind," he says rubbing his chin with his index finger and thumb in concentration. "Now I know what you are thinking but I cannot allow you to accompany the group that is transporting him."
At that Naomi's voice rises, "and why is that? I am the only one Christian here trusts! I can get him there and be back in half the time the campers can with my shadow travel."
"She makes a point Chiron. I mean obviously she can't go alone at least one other person should go with her. " I suggest hinting it should be me to go with her.
I look over and notice how uncomfortable Christian looked. This must all be a lot for him. Why is Naomi trying to leave again though she just got here?

After a few seconds of silence longer Chiron spoke, "I'll allow you two take Christian here to the other camp. You must also bring Nico."
We all agreed now just needed to get Nico to agree. Chris and Naomi started to get up and leave and I caught up to them.
"we should talk to Nico at dinner." I say to Naomi.
"yeah talk to him tonight leave first thing tomorrow morning." she replies.
"why are we leaving so soon?" asks Chris
"the sooner the better. Let's get to the cabin you'll be staying in tonight." Naomi and I lead him over to the Aphrodite cabin he'll be staying in tonight.
