The brunet ran the charcoal over the white paper, marking it with successive lines that almost perfectly reflected what was in front of his eyes. He rubbed one of them carefully with his finger, creating a soft chiaroscuro, then almost involuntarily looked down at his hands. In his right hand he was holding the charcoal with which he had been drawing for a long time. He wasn't using a pen holder, which made his fingers dirty with carbon, but he didn't mind. On the contrary. He loved to draw with his hands, smell the paint or charcoal, touch the canvas with his fingers, feel its texture under his fingertips. In this way, he perceived everything more strongly, more accurately.
And he wanted to feel everything.
For ten years, he only existed. Now he finally wanted to start living. He wanted handfuls of life. To enjoy every moment and memorize every minute.
He looked up again to meet the gaze of the onyx irises that were staring intently at him. Taehyung stared at him boldly, without a trace of embarrassment, even though he was sitting almost naked in front of him. Only his narrow hips were girdled with a white sheet. His lips curved into a soft but sensual smile at the same time, eyes staring at him as if they were stripping him from every layer, reaching where no one had ever reached.
He just stared at him for a moment, once again that evening gliding across his dark, black-inked skin with hungry eyes. He wanted to put everything aside and close the gap between them. He wanted to touch him, run his charcoal-stained fingers over his body, leaving gray smudges on him, and then he would kiss each of them until his skin regained that beautiful caramel color.
But he forced himself to start moving his hand again, transferring the man's beauty to the paper. He focused on the line of his shoulders, now slightly rounded, then reached out a finger to rub it. However, as his finger touched the paper, Taehyung began to slide his fingertips over his skin as if reflecting his actions. Jeongguk tried not to pay attention to it and to focus on what he was doing so far. The drawing wasn't completely finished yet, and he wanted it to be perfect. It was supposed to be the last of his competition entries. And even though the Academy had already placed him in the final three, he wanted to prove to them that it was the right decision.
He narrowed his eyes a little tighter and looked up at Taehyung again to examine his slender neck and protruding collarbones again. His hand moved quickly, as if he remembered the texture of his skin well. He drew lines, from time to time looking at the paper, then at the tattoo artist. All the time, however, he felt the warmth of the man's hand on his thigh, and the longer he disregarded him, the more his touch burned his skin, inflaming his body.
When he felt the man move his fingers again, his fingertips running over his skin, he instinctively shifted his gaze to him. Taehyung was no longer looking at him. Now his gaze was fixed on his right thigh. Exactly where his slim, tattooed fingers caressed the milky skin, drawing intricate patterns on it.
All he had to do was look at his hand, and he saw the man's fingers glide with fascination over the bruising on the inside of his thigh. It wasn't very visible yet, but he was sure it would turn bluer soon. Like those hickeys Taehyung made him a few days ago when they made love after their first date. The one that the tattoo artist examined with his fingertips was created this morning when the tattoo artist decided to eat his breakfast in a slightly different way ― by getting between his thighs.
