Jeongguk walked quickly down the corridor, covering the distance with long strides. He looked at his watch. He had just over half an hour. He cursed silently and quickened his pace.

When he saw his friend's office, he pushed the door open with his hand, not even bothering to knock. From the very threshold he was greeted by Jimin's sonorous laugh, which fell silent almost immediately the moment his leg crossed the threshold. Two pairs of eyes turned towards him, and he froze in mid-step. He swallowed hard, then entered the office, closed the door behind him, and quickly approached his friends.

"Jeongguk? What are you still doing here?" Hoseok asked, surprised.

"Shouldn't you be on a date with a sexy tattoo artist?" Jimin asked, frowning his eyebrows.

"Yes. No. I mean... yes... " he spoke quickly, his words spitting out at the speed of a machine gun. "But I'm not going," he said confidently, and leaned his buttocks against Hoseok's desk. "And it's not a date!" he added, pointing his index finger at Jimin. The blond raised his hands in a defensive gesture.

"Okay, okay... But why you are saying you won't go?" he asked surprised. "Gguk, that's all you dreamed about, and this boy is the best artist I've ever seen," Jimin began, looking him straight in the eye. "Believe me, I saw Yoongi without a shirt. He looks like a living work of art, and it's all this boy's work..."

"He's an arrogant asshole," Jeongguk said.

"But a gifted arrogant asshole," replied Jimin. "You're not going to date him. You will go to the meeting, discuss the details, he will tattoo you and everyone will go their own separate way."

"I don't know if it's a good idea..." he said, choosing his words carefully.

The memory of yesterday evening flashed through his mind, and how he had satisfied himself by imagining the look of the tattoo artist's eyes. Instinctively, he cleared his throat, then pushed himself off the desk and stood up, shifting nervously.

"Come on, Gguk. He's not gonna bite you. Go there today, if you don't get along, we'll find someone else," said Hoseok.

Jeongguk thought for a moment on the words of his friends. He had wanted to get this tattoo for so many years. When he and Lisa get married, it will be too late to do it. The girl hated tattoos. She wouldn't forgive him for doing it.

"O-okay. You're right," he nodded finally. "Park, can I take your car? Lisa went to some meeting with my father and took mine."

"Sure!" he replied and tossed him the keys of his Ferrari.

Jeongguk caught it in flight, then looked at the brand logo and squeezed his hand. It couldn't be so terrible. Hoseok was right. If they don't get along, he'll just tell him to fuck off and find someone else. This arrogant asshole may have been very talented, but he wasn't the only tattoo artist in Seoul. At most, he will find someone else.
