A/N: I'm obsessed with writing this story I'm not even sorry.
CADENCE:
I walk out of Harry's apartment building and Piers is standing there, waiting for me in front of the sleek black car he's always driving. I smile at him, and he returns a smile to me, motioning for me to get in the back seat but I surpass him. I hate just how formal all of this is. It's far too formal for me, especially considering he's taken me just about everywhere for the past few weeks. I'm tired of the stuck up feeling I get sitting in the back of this car. He watches me as I reach and open the front door.
"We're past the back seat, I'd like to think." I tell him.
"I'm not sure Mr. Styles would-"
"Well Mr. Styles probably wouldn't.. But he'll like anything if it comes from my mouth, and that's a fact. So don't worry about him, worry about me." I tell him. I watch him contemplate on his strong features, and turn around to walk around the front of the car with no more argument. He's a strong man. Hard to believe that all he does is drive for Harry but if I question that, then my mind will come up with far too many questions that I know I probably wouldn't get answers to. Piers has an incredibly strong bone structure.. At this point all I can think is Harry only hires men he's attracted to because the two I've seen are drop dead gorgeous.
"How are you today Miss Tucker?" He asks me, using my last name that I hardly hear anymore.
"I'd be better if you'd stop being so formal around me. Cady, call me Cady." I tell him, and he chuckles lightly to himself.
"You want me to lose my job don't you?" He asks, a bit of the informal brooklyn accent coming out the more he eases up around me.
"I think I'd riot if Harry ever tried to fire you. I like you Piers." I tell him, and he nods, smiling to himself. He has one hand resting over the wheel, and a pair of dark sunglasses on as he drives the two of us through the New York traffic.
"I like you too, Cady. You're a sweet one." he tells me, and I watch the cars around us as I smile to myself.
"You say that like the other people you drive for him aren't." I tell him.
"Because they aren't. I think you might be the only person that I've had in this car beside Harry of course that actually speaks to me. You're like a breath of fresh air." He tells me, and I look over to him.
"You're an attractive man, I know you get paid incredibly well.. Do you have anyone special at home, Piers?" I ask, and he shrugs.
"I did. Don't anymore. Job takes up too much time. I enjoy it though." He tells me, and I nod.
"In other words, you've never had anyone that's been worth the risk of losing this job?" I ask him, and he nods.
"You're too smart for your own good.. No, I don't have anyone. One day maybe." He tells me, and I smile with closed lips. "I'm glad Harry found you... Or you found him." He tells me, changing his words. I try not to blush but I know I am.
