"Luckily, I don't have that problem" Mei suddenly started talking. She 'landed' on the ground, with her confident face.
"I'm Meilin Lee, and since i turned thirteen, doing my own thing, making my own moves! 24/7. 365!" She said proudly with her eyes closed.
"I wear what i want, say what i want!" She said, this time pointing to whatever there was.
"And i will not hesitate to do an spontaneous cartwheel, if I feel so moved!"
She said a few more things, and, before she knew. She fell. everyone there looked at her, she stared quietly. then putting her school material back.
"Not to brag, but, being thirteen means I'm officialy a grown-up! At least according to the Toronto Transit Comission" She entered the bus, one hand her hip, showing the bus driver, her 'license' .
The bus driver looked at her nervously.
"Good for you." Mei sat next to a man on a phone call, while humming.
"Aham, aham. All about that hustle, am I right?" The business man looked at her, with a strange face.
Although, many people had seem to get used to Mei's bubbly and extroverted personality.

Mei finally arrived at school, making entrance.
"𝐁𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐄𝐒 𝐀𝐒𝐒𝐄𝐌𝐁𝐋𝐄!"
Before pointing at bestfriend Miriam, who was eating chips from her locker.
"Hmm?! Hey!" Miriam and Mei whooped while doing a little greeting, they always did.
Also at Priya, who seeemed to be reading a light novel about vampires.
"Yo." She said in a deep voice, high-fiving Mei sassily.
Abby, who was shouting at people, who left paper on the ground. In korean.
"Huh?! What's up Mei?!" She did a little pose, before waving to Mei, and her waiving back.
And then. y/n l/n, her bestest friend, since ever. She was doing/(hobby), when she saw them, y/n proceeded to shove everything in her locker.
"Oh! Hey guys!" She ran to them and gave them all a little quick hug.
They talked about 4town for a bit, but then.
The bell rang, and it meant that they would be separated, the girls frowned and waved goodbye, except Mei and y/n.
They had french class together, Mei loved how she got to spend time with her best friend, but of course, she had to focus in class and always be the top student.
she has always been over the top, only to please her mother. only if Ming knew her daughter's true identity.
but sometimes, it was really annoying in her friend's point of view. since she never had time to hangout and Mei was overly responsible all the time.
they hoped Mei wouldn't be like Ming in the future.
