𝐒𝐄𝐋𝐋 after sell, their business was going well, all they needed to do was hide EVERYTHING from Mei's mom, which wasn't going to be easy. so they made up a fake plan.
they took pictures, sold customized keychains, shirts and also recorded videoclips. the people at school didn't find it weird, they thought it was cool and the trend spread through the school.
now, they were making even more keychains and they were getting exhausted. but Mei kept putting pressure on her friends and herself.
a sign that she REALLY wanted to go to the concert, but so did her friends and they just needed more 200 dollars.
as her friends complained, she just kept making excuses to make them work "No pain, no gain, Priya. Come on now, chop chop!"
The red headed girl was so stressed that her fluffy red panda ears appeared, the others reassured that it would be okay
but Mei kept making excuses, until y/n hugged her. she paused for a few seconds and slightly hugged back, still not convinced.
then, Mei got distracted by some boys that were playing basketball and had the TERRIBLE idea to shout out a pick up line
"Hey! Are you a triangle? Cuz you 'acute'!" they all burst out laughing as Miriam placed her hands on both Mei's and y/n's shoulders
"See?! It's going to be okay!" Miriam and y/n sweetly smiled at the other girl until-
"So weird.." a voice said from behind, which they immediately recognized it, it was Tyler's voice.
they peeked to him with his hands on his pockets and he had a stick on his mouth, y/n and him made quick eye contact, what made both look away from eachother.
"Hey!-" Miriam shouted "Are you spying on us?!" Mei said, angrily. y/n could see that he was trying really hard to keep his cool
so, she relaxed a little, "I want to talk to you-" Tyler said, before getting interrupted by Mei
"Forget it!" Mei said looking away from him as all the others did so, except y/n. she looked like she was staring into his poor soul, which, made him quite intimidated.
"Fine, I wonder if your mom knows your precious little Mei Mei has been flying the panda all over school" he said, removing the stick from his mouth
the girls looked startled and turned back to face him, Mei got up from her seat as Tyler smirked, knowing his plan worked.
she transformed into the red panda and walked in his direction make him stumble back, he took out his phone and threatened her
"One more step and I'm telling her everything!" she backed away, with widened eyes.
"Put that thing away and hear me out!" he said, while she groaned, trying to calm down. she transformed back to her normal self.
"What do YOU want?!"she said, irritated. he lowered his hand at her and grabbed something out of his pocket, y/n was surprised to see a poster about his party
"I want to throw a sick birthday party- an EPIC one!" he said, making her grab the poster and read it for herself
She paused to look at her friends, for approval, the four of them looked at eachother, and they all shrugged.
"It's this Friday. If you're there, everyone will come, simple as that." he said, looking a little hesitant.
'Maybe he's just afraid of rejection' y/n thought, putting s hand on her chin.
"A- party?.." she asked, confused, as Tyler sighed, looking forward to explain things to her
"Look, I've done you a favor by keeping my mouth shut. All I'm asking for is one back." he said, extending his arms out.
"hmm..I'll do it. but it'll cost you one- no, two hundred bucks!" she said as the panda girl played with her two fingers, shoving her words right into his face, then excused herself
"are you serious? you can't trust him" Miriam said as the others nodded
"That's a trap!" Abby retorted, angrily
"This sounds like a boy girl party, are we allowed to boy girl parties?" Priya asked them
"Mei, he's been bullying you for such a long time! Are you sure about this?" y/n asked
"Guys! two hundred bucks will put us over the top! we have to do this." Mei said, and after discussing for a while, they've come to an agreement
as they shook hands. Friday came and it was almost time for the party to start. but just as Mei was leaving her house.
