chapter 1 (locked up)

I looked over at the clock, the only object in the room. It was 7:46 pm, we had only been in here for 5 minutes, but it felt like hours. The room was smallish and not very light up, the only light source was a small light ball in the middle of the room. The walls were made of concrete and so was the floor. It was freezing in the room.

Great I'm stuck in a room with a dumbass, and I might catch a cold. This is just Fantastic. I glanced around the room; Dabi was sitting in the other corner of the room. I looked closer and saw that he was using his Quirk.

Well, that made things 10 times better. I'm over here freezing my butt off, while he is sitting over there being all warm and stuff. He turned to me, but I quickly turned away, but I swear I saw him smirk.

There was a minute silence until Dabi spoke up " Cold Darling~?" he teased; I was shocked "what no! what would make you think that?" I Said trying not to stutter from the cold. He looked me up and down "well from the way your body is shivering, it would look like you're rather cold" there was a small pause, "if you wanna I can keep you warm". I look at him like he was crazy. "How close?" I asked looking him in the eyes. "How close do you want me to be"... what did he just say. It took me a minute to realize what he had just told me. "Well?" he asked. I took a breath in the answer "No way in hell, will I be getting any closer". "Fine suit yourself" he then turned away from me.

But as time went on and the room was getting colder, my body automatically moved closer to him. He glanced over at me and had the giant smirk. " Look who is all close now". I looked him dead in the eyes "if you say a thing, I will kill you", "okay, okay I won't say a thing" he stated. I laid next to him until I felt my eyelids close, and soon after I fell asleep.

I woke up to the sound of somebody banging on the door. When I looked up, I saw Dabi. He was slamming his whole body into the metal door. There was nothing more than a small indent in the door from where Dabi had hit it. He slammed his body into it again and again, but nothing happened.

"oh, for crying out loud, stop" he looked over at me. He looked shocked; he had probably not noticed that I was watching him. "Sorry, I didn't mean to wake you up". wait hold it, did he just say sorry, damn that is not a word you hear often, coming out of his mouth. To be honest I did not even know he had that in his vocabulary.

I stood up from where I was laying and walked over to him. I looked at the door; it was a steel door. Dabi would be able to melt it but would make Shiggy furious, and could cause harm to both me and him. "There is no use if you break the door, and if you do we'll get in even bigger trouble than we're already in" he stared at me for a brief second, but soon walked back to the corner again. I followed him and sat next to him. We sat there for about 10 minutes when we hear footsteps outside the door, and the door swung open.

There he stood, Shiggy. He looked pissed. Shit. "Who was it" he looked at me then Dabi. None of us answer and we could see Shiggy did not care. "Listen if you do it again instead of 24 hours in this shit hole it will be 48 hours okay". Both Dabi and I nodded, knowing we did not want to stay here a second more than needed.

When the door closed, I looked over at Dabi. It was funny seeing him so mad. " well that did not go as planned," I said trying to suppress my grin, "next time I suggest not doing it at midnight". He looked at me like I just killed his whole bloodline. this made me almost crack out laughing. " Like you could have done it better" he snapped back. Geez, angry much. I looked at the clock 00:43 am, so that's 19 hours left.

The room was still ice-cold. But this time I would not let my body move on its own. It was getting colder by the minute, and my body started to shiver. Suddenly I felt something warm being placed over me. I looked up to see Dabi laying his jacket over my shoulders. "What are you doing" I looked at him baffled. " oh shut, you were freezing in I don't need it so shut up and take". I was still looking at him "what?!", I snapped out of my trance. "umm it's nothing" I laid back down falling asleep.
