The train came to a stop at the next station in the small village of Castleville. Getting off with the other passengers is Kita and Saber. The latter of whom was feeling a little queasy.
"I don't feel so good." The Greninja says before going to a nearby trash can to throw up.
Kita rolls her eyes. "I told you not to eat 15 servings of curry. But did you listen? No.
Saber walks away from the trash can and followed after the Gardevoir. Unbeknownst to either of them, the two Pokémon on the train followed after them. Back at the trash can, the sound of munching could be heard. If one were to look inside, they would find a Grimer in the trash can enjoying himself.
The two Pokémon made their way down the road to the guild building, which was large enough to hold three Wailords. Inside they found multiple different businesses besides the Guild itself including: a Kecleon Shop, a Kangaskhan Cafe/Storage, a hospital that was run by an Audino, a training yard that is run by a Grapploct, a restaurant run by a Centiscorch, and an amphitheater run by a couple of Urshifu who seemed to be twin brothers.
The two traveling Pokemon made their way into the main part of the guild building where the actual Expedition Society members did their work from retrieving lost items to catching outlaws. They were stopped by a Haxorus that appeared to work as a guard.
The Haxorus looked down at the two smaller Pokémon. "Before I can let the two of you in, I need to know who you are and the reason of your visit. If you are here to waste our time with any products that you plan to sell or if you are paparazzi, I won't hesitate to escort you to the entrance."
Saber stepped forward. "My name is Saber. I am a Greninja from Serene Village in the Water Continent. I have come here to join this branch of the Expedition Society in order to start my new life here over at the Metal Continent."
Kita stepped up next. "I am Kita. I have come here to this place from my home to also join the Expedition Society to help my fellow Pokémon in their times of need."
The Haxorus looked at them and nodded his head. "You two may pass. I'm sure that Guildmaster Titan can help you both get started."
The two travelers looked at each other and looked back to the guard. "'Titan'?"
The Haxorus nodded to them. "You'll find out once you meet him. Now I hope that you two won't cause any trouble. I have enough with those two guys brawling."
The two Pokémon bid their farewells to the Haxorus and made their way over to the main atrium of the Guild building where they would meet with the Guildmaster to see if they will be let into the Expedition Society or not.
The two of them made their way to the main office that the aforementioned Titan was currently at. The Greninja looked at the Gardevoir standing next to him. "Do you want to knock, or should I?"
Kita gestured for him to go ahead. Taking a deep breath, Saber reached his right hand up and rasped it three time. A deep voice from inside called out to them. "Enter or go away!"
The two travelers soon opened the door and walked inside. There were several different exploration equipment and maps that were placed around the room that in a way that seemed to convey no rhyme or reason and shows them at the same time.
The two of them stood in front of the desk that was stacked full of books and different research tools. Then some of the stuff began to be moved off of the desk little by little until finally they could look up and see the towering mass of metal that was before them. It seemed to look like a bipedal lizard that was made of metal.

Saber decided to speak first. "Are you Guildmaster Titan?"
He looked down at the two of them, no emotion being shone. "Yes, that is my name. What is your purpose of you interrupting my study time today, young ones?" Despite having a deep voice, he actually seemed to want to here what they wanted to say.
The Greninja gulped before he explained. "My name is Saber, and this is Kita." He began gesturing towards the Gardevoir, who waved to the Dragon/Steel type Pokémon, " We have traveled all of this way to make an Expedition team here to help others with their problems."
The Duraludon thought it over before looking to the two younger Pokémon. "I have decided to let you both join." Saber and Kita were both excited, but were interrupted by the Guildmaster, "However, I must test the two of you to see how well you can act as a team before I can decide to let you be on a team together or not."
Titan then led the newest recruits to what appeared to be the Bulletin Board in the main hall that housed all of the different jobs that members of the Expedition Society take on for that part of the world. He pulled off a piece of paper and handed it to the Greninja.
It read: "Retrieval/Escort Mission: I need you to find my lost scarf. I lost it in the Sleeping Forest. Please help me get it back. -Shawn the Wooloo."
Saber handed the paper to the Gardevoir. Once Kita was done looking the paper over, she nodded towards the Greninja.
The two looked to the Duraludon and saluted. "We will do our very best to complete this assignment, sir."
Titan chuckled a little bit confusing the two younger Pokémon. "There's no need for that. I trust that the two of you will be able to do your duty. Now then, the Sleeping Forest is located to the west of this town towards the shore. Make sure to take the right path and you'll find your way."
The two of them nodded and grabbed what items they would need and placed them in their bags. As the two of them left, they did not notice the two Pokémon that had followed them from Shore Town coming up behind the Duraludon.
Titan, without looking at them, told them their mission. "Follow them. You know what you must do once they have made it to their goal. Succeed and I'll put you both on a team of your choosing." The two mystery Pokémon nodded and left without a word, following their targets west to finish their goal.
