Chapter 14

Zhao Yunlan tried to find his phone when he heard the vibration on the desk once again. He is afraid if his wife is calling him for anything at home. He keeps finding it underneath a lot of papers and files on the working desk when he is settling the work in his office since morning. He left his wife alone at home after they had their breakfast together this morning.

''Haihhh... Where is it?'' Zhao Yunlan whined while searching for his phone and finally he found it.

Zhao Yunlan wanted to answer the phone but then the calling ended. He frowns to see the name on the screen that now already six miss called. He is afraid to answer the call from this person. He didn't want to answer it if possible. But if he didn't answer it, he is afraid for the consequences he will get soon especially to his wife. A moment later, his phone is vibrating once again for the seventh call.

''Hel... Hello...'' Zhao Yunlan finally answered the call but before he can say that name, that person already shot him with the hurtful words.

''How ungrateful son! Are you forgetting your parents now after you married her, Yunlan?! Are you really bewitched by her?! I can't believe she is too powerful to make you forget your own parents! Just if I know this will happen to you to marry her without my approval and behind my back, I killed her earlier!'' that person shouted in mad.

Zhao Yunlan speechless at his seat to hear those hurtful words.

''D... D... Dad...'' Zhao Yunlan stuttered to call that name.

''Yes! I am your DAD! Are you forgetting my voice now to get her?!'' Mr. Zhao shouted again.

''Err... No, dad...''

''Then, why are you didn't call us or text us for a single thing?! You even didn't tell us for your injury! Are you happy now to get that injury by your precious wife?! Did you wish to die in her hand?! Why don't you just ask me to kill you instead of her if you wished to die now?!'' Mr. Zhao shouted and shouted till Zhao Yunlan trembling at his seat to hear that familiar loud voice from his dad that he heard before he moved to this city.

''It's just... It's just an accident, dad,'' Zhao Yunlan tried to cover his wife's did to him at that time.

''Accident?! Accident from your own precious wife?! Wow! Incredible, Yunlan! My wife never hurt me since I married her. But your precious wife already almost killed you just half a year you are married her! How wonderful your marriage life, Yunlan! Didn't I tell you that she and her family are just having the unfortunate fate to your life. You see now what's happened to you. Luckily your colleagues are quick to save you. What if they are late to send you to the hospital? You may die, Yunlan!'' Mr. Zhao scolded with his mad to Shen Wei and her family.

''But I am fine now. She didn't mean that,'' Zhao Yunlan backed up his wife once again.

''You are still backing her behind your back! You wait there, Yunlan! I will fly to there and meet you two! You will see what will I do to her to snatch you from your family and to make you forgot us at here!'' Mr. Zhao threatened in mad again before the phone call is ended.

Upon listening to the threaten from Mr. Zhao, Zhao Yunlan trembles more. He tried to stand up to get a glass of water to swallow his medicine for the panic attack he got now. His heartbeat is increasing rapidly made him feels more dizzy. He saw his office is spinning around when he tried to get a glass of water near to his working desk. But unfortunately, his panic attack caused him lost his balance and he fell off on the floor when his hand reached to the glass at there.

''Dr. Zhao Yunlan!'' Chu that coming to Zhao Yunlan's office shouted in surprised to see Zhao Yunlan is falling to the floor.

Chu heard everything from Zhao Yunlan's talk to the phone when Chu came to meet with Zhao Yunlan for something in his life. He wanted to knock the opened door of Zhao Yunlan's office room but he didn't expect that Zhao Yunlan got another panic attack just to get that phone call that Chu heard from Zhao Yunlan's dad. He wonders for what's happened that Zhao Yunlan is scared too much to that old man.
