Chapter 26 (Final)

Shen Wei walks towards the aisle to give the ribbons she created with her mother on the last night to Chu. Her mother can't come today to help Zhao family for her mother has a school meeting for the next school session. So, she brought those ribbons by herself with Zhao Yunlan drove to here. Chu took the ribbons and he continues his work to prepare the aisle for his wedding event on two days later since he already lives in Zhao house now after he moved to here.

Chu quit his job in the police station in Guardian City a few days of Guo will have her high school examination. Then, he directly moved to Zhao house as he wants to learn about the company earlier. So that, when he takes over the position that Mr. Zhao offered to him, he can do it faster. Besides, he wants to give a moral support to Guo to do the best in her examination. Lucky Guo to get a considerate fiance.

''Weiwei, watch out!'' Zhao Yunlan shouted as he caught the body of his wife that almost fell off when her leg tripped the rope on the floor.

''Oh, my! Wei!'' All of them at there shouted in shocked too to hear the worrying shout of Zhao Yunlan.

Shen Wei's face turned to pale as she almost fell off. She quickly holds her pregnancy belly while calming down her unstable heartbeat for a shock. Zhao Yunlan supports her body for the meantime till Shen Wei can calm back and he slowly pulls Shen Wei to take a seat on the chair.

''Need to go to the hospital?'' Zhao Yunlan worryingly asked while gently rubbing on Shen Wei's pregnancy belly. 

Shen Wei shakes her head.

''No need, Ah Lan. Just a little shock. I am fine. Babies too,'' Shen Wei replied with her sighing in relief.

Zhao Yunlan nods understand.

''Be careful around you, Weiwei. I don't want to see you hurt. And the babies too,'' Zhao Yunlan reminded while caressing on Shen Wei's pregnancy belly that now already 8 months.

Shen Wei nods.

''I am sorry to not be careful earlier. I am too excited to help them for this wedding of Chang and Suzhi,'' Shen Wei said.

Zhao Yunlan nods for his understand but he keeps advising to his wife to be careful. Shen Wei gently rubs on her pregnancy belly while leaning her back on the chair back.

''Rest at here. I will get a glass of water to you. Mom, please look at her,'' Zhao Yunlan said.

Shen Wei didn't object as well as Mrs. Zhao. Zhao Yunlan gets a glass of water to his wife and he leaves his wife with his mom at there. Shen Wei saw Zhao Yunlan is helping Chu for the ribbons while Mr. Zhao is arranging the guest chairs with Guo. A moment later, Mrs. Zhao joins Guo for the help, leaving Shen Wei alone to do the work in writing the guests name list for the chairs.

As the night came, they take their rest in Zhao house for a moment before they are separated to go back to their house. Chu followed Zhao Yunlan to stay in Zhao Yunlan's new house in this city, which about 15 minutes from Zhao house. Chu will stay there till the wedding day to respect their tradition to not see the bride before the wedding. Luckily they finished the preparation earlier and tomorrow they just will focus on the wedding clothes and make up.

As the preparation was made, the wedding event is held peacefully without any disturbance. Chu didn't forget to invite his ex-teammates from the Guardian City as well as Bai's teammates from this city. Zhao Yunlan invited his ex-collegues from Guardian City University and Shen Wei invited her friends and lecturers from DCU.

They came and celebrated the wedding of Chu and Guo happily and peacefully except a few of Chu's ex-teammates that can't come to here for the reasons but Chu didn't mind that since his closed ex-colleague is here now. Who else if not his best buddy, Jason. Even though Chu already quit the job in police work, but the relationship of Chu with his ex-teammates is still good especially between him and Jason.
