The Chance In Fate

Chapter 6

Lauren's POV 

As I was laying there with Chloe I felt my phone go off. It was my mom, well that is weird. She usually only calls when something important is going on. I climbed out of the bed and went to the corner of the room so that I was still there but wouldn't wake her up.

I answered the call "Hey Mom!" "I am so glad that you are okay Lauren!" "What are you talking about Mom." "Why are you in the hospital." I was so confused, how did she know I was in the hospital?? "Mom, how did you find out I was here?" "Lauren, the harmonizers told me. There is a picture of you on a hospital bed with a little girl with you. So, I will ask you again. Why are you at the hospital?" HOW DOES HARMONIZERS KNOW I AM HERE????? WHAT THE HELL?! Don't get me wrong, I want everyone to see this amazing girl. I just don't want her to get any hate because I know how bad the hate can get and I know how much it can tear you down.

"Mom, relax nothing happened. I saved a girl from a fire and I am staying with her until she gets better. I actually wanted to talk to you about it." I looked at Chloe to make sure she was still sleeping and she was. "Mom, I am 18 so I know this is me and the girl's decision, but I want to adopt this girl. Before you say anything just hear me out. See, when I saw the place on fire and I saw a figure upstairs I did not even think first. I just ran in there to help her. The more I am around her, the more I realized how much I care about her. I can't see myself going anywhere without her. I want to be there to protect her as much as I physically can. I would do anything for her mom."

"Lauren, as long as you and the girls are all willing to do this and protect her. Then I am perfectly fine with you girls adopting her. Just make sure that you are ready, I know what it is like to raise teenage girls, they can be a handful." Looks like we are adopting! I said goodbye to mom and walked back over to Chloe. I climbed back into the bed and felt her cuddle back into me. I looked at her and she had a smile on her fae but a tear running down her face. That is when I knew that she heard the conversation that I had with my mom. Well, I really hope that the girls agree to adopting her because if they don't then we will be hurting her and I will be screwed! 

(Sorry guys, this one is a short chapter. I am not really feeling well tonight and I have piano lessons and homework. I just wanted to make sure that I posted something for all of you amazing people that took time out of your day to read this story! I love you all so much and I hope that you are all enjoying my story. I am sorry if this story sucks at the moment, but I am working to make it better for all of you. I hope you all have an amazing morning/afternoon/evening/night depending on where you are. Remember that there is always someone out there that loves you and if you don't believe that, please believe that I love you because I really do.
