Rebecca POV

I promised myself when it got dark, I would leave. I couldn't stay another night here. I wouldn't know where to go, but almost any place was better than here.

So I kept my promise and packed my bags. Only two large duffle bags so there wouldn't be too much to carry while wandering the streets of Gotham. Which was dangerous, but it wouldn't be any more dangerous than my home.

I snuck out, gently closing my window and walking on the side of the house. Thank goodness my room was on the first floor.

The wind was cold, the night sky was gray, and you could see the outline of lightening through the cracks of the clouds. The thunder was so loud and rich that it could rattle through your ears, making your heart thump harder each time.

Thank goodness no rain though...

I spoke too soon.

It started to rain, pour at that. Just another night in paradise.

But I couldn't complain. I didn't mind the rain. I didn't mind the thunder, nor the lightening. As long as I was away from my father, I wouldn't complain.

I ran under the roof of a building to prevent getting even more soaked. I pulled out my phone, searching for someone that could help me, or would at least try to. As I scrolled down my contacts list, I came across a smiling face, blue eyes happy as almost always. I clicked his picture then tapped call, putting my phone up to my ear. I tapped my toes on the sidewalk as I looked up the barren streets, listening to the constant ringing, hoping for an answer.

Then I finally got one, noticing the rain softened to a sprinkle.

"Finally," I sigh.

"Hey, Bec!" Dick said excitedly, then I heard my name be called in the background. The phone rumbled as if it was being handled with. "Hey Bec!" Another voice said as I heard Dick yelling in the background. I definitely knew Tim took the phone from Dick. I knew Tim was running from him after hearing wind blow against the phone and Dick's yelling voice in the background. I laughed, starting to walk again, starting to hear another voice. Jason.

There was more rumbling of the phone and I heard Tim yelling "Give it back!"

"Reach it then. Who's this anyways?"

I heard a loud thump as Dick yelled, also Tim. "Hi Becky!" A voice yelled and I laughed, knowing the only person who called me that was Damian.

"That's Rebecca?!" Jason asked shockingly, and they all screamed yes. "Guys, just put me on speakerphone! That'll make things a lot easier."

It got quieter and the phone rumbled a little bit more. "Are we good?" I ask with a smirk on my face.

"Yeah, you're on speakerphone now." Tim answered then Dick added, "So what's up?"

I took a deep breath, "I need a favor. I need somewhere to stay until I get settled-"

"What's wrong with your place? What happened?" Jason asked, and I could tell he was slightly concerned.

"It's...it's complicated."

As the brothers discussed it, my attention went away from them and to what was around me. I seemed alone, but I felt another presence, like I was being watched.

I looked around, looking closely at every dark corner until my feeling turned out to be right. It was never wrong now that I think about it. Gotham's Dark Knight appeared from the shadows of an alley and I tried not to smile, knowing I was on the phone with his four sons.

"What are you doing alone?" He asked. There was a young sophomore girl in all black roaming the streets of Gotham City alone, by herself, dragging around two big ass duffle bags. Yeah, nothing to be suspicious of here.

"I'm on my way somewhere-"

"Where?"

"Your house." I smirked and his eyes squinted viciously. I shrugged my shoulders and continued to head to Wayne Manor. I told him the truth, and he didn't believe me. Hey, what can you do, right? Man, was he in for a shocker.

I put the phone back up to my ear. "I just ran into your big bat-"

"He told me he wasn't going out tonight... Liar!" Damian yelled.

"Anyways, how far do you think you are from here?" Dick asked and I looked at the streetsign. "Maybe, 25, 30 minutes." I say and it was quiet.

"We have a way to speed things up." Tim said sleekly and I raised an eyebrow, feeling the suspicion.

"And what do you mean by that?"

"Just know we'll be there in like, 2 minutes." Jason claimed and before I could say anything, the line went dead. How could they get here in 2 minutes when it's a 30 minute walk or a 10 minute drive?

Suddenly, I heard a noise and I looked behind me. Standing behind me was Robin, Nightwing, Red Hood, and Red Robin. I raised an eyebrow as they walked closer. "Now how was this going to speed-" My question was cut off when Tim grabbed me and grappled me off of the ground, the rest of the brothers following behind, Jason grabbing my bags that slipped off of my arms. Tim released his hand from my waist and my scream pierced the air until another hand grabbed me, Dick. I gripped onto his suit as I looked ahead. He dropped me into the hands of Damian, who surprisingly was strong enough to hold me. Then, I understood their game. I was like a little ball and they were playing catch. I looked back and they were doing the same thing to my bags as they were to me.

Damian swung forward, throwing me ahead of them, and I honestly thought he threw me far so no one would catch me. But my back hit something and I looked back to Jason, who no longer had my bags and was grappling ahead now. "I hope you guys know I'm going to get you back for this!" I say, and Jason laughed.

"Come on, enjoy it!" Tim laughed as I was thrown back to Dick. "How---can I enjoy being tossed around like a ping pong ball?!" I scream as I was in the hands of Tim again. It was only 3 minutes later when Wayne Manor came into sight.

"Told ya' I would speed things up!" Tim laughed as Damian grabbed me. We softly landed and Damian got shorter than me again. They laughed because I could barely stand, or maybe it was the fact my hair was completely messed up. "It's not funny! How can you do that then walk like you did nothing?!" I say, trying to keep my balance as we walked up the steps.

"It's not that we're laughing at." Jason smirked, taking off his red helmet.

"Says the guy who has an entire helmet to protect his perfect hair." I sent him a glare as they kept going, leaving me behind. They were at the door and I was only on like the 6th step. I had plenty more to go.

"Speed it up, grandma!" Dick laughed and I sent him a glare too. "Be patient with your elderly, young man." They laughed as I smiled, getting my balance back some more. I made it to the door and walked in. It was warm inside and Jason and Tim lead me to the room I would stay in, since they were the ones who had my bags.

After seeing my room and dropping my things off, I went to go hang with the guys, watching tv in one of the living rooms.

After a while, a voice came from outside the room. His sentence was cut off as he entered the room and saw me. I smirked as I wiggled my fingers in a wave. "Hey, Bruce." His eyebrows furrowed but he stayed silent.

"I told you I was coming over."
