After the battle for the hospital, Raptor squad were picked up by a Raven Helicopter listening to Chairman Prescott's speech. The speech was heard around all of Sera. Radios, TVs, intercoms, you name it.

"For fifteen years, we've been fighting for our very survival against inhuman, genocidal monsters." Prescott announced. "But it is a fight we cannot continue. Humanity faces extinction, unless we end this war now.

Back on the Raven. Clayton asked Kurt why they had to drill in Landown instead of their current location.

"Jacinto is the one place they can't dig through, and Landown's the perfect spot to hit 'em on their own turf." Kurt explained as he then turned his head to look at Sarah check her weapon then to April sitting on the edge of the Raven staring out seeming annoyed hearing Prescott's voice.

"But isn't there a shit ton of grubs there, Kurt?" April asked turning her head looking at Kurt.

"No, no. Only ten shit tons..." Kurt said as Sarah had a worried look on her face and April looked exactly the same. Kurt knew what both of the girls were worried about.

During the ride to their transport vehicles Prescott's speech carried on.

"Soon we'll have nothing left to defend, and that means we have only one option... Attack." Prescott announced as the Ravens touch downed at an outpost halfway between the hospital and Landown.

Raptor got off the Raven and Kurt was amazed at the amount of Gears and vehicles there. From Assault Derricks to Centaur tanks. Prescott's speech continued as Gears got their weapons and ammo and suiting up.

"... We must now take this fight to the Locust! We will go to where they live and where they breed... and we will destroy them! This is the day we take the battle to the heart of the enemy! This is the day that we correct the course of human history! This is the day we ensure our survival as a species!" Prescott shouted which motivated and hyped a lot of the COG Soldiers. "Soldiers of the COG, my fellow Gears, go forth and bring back the hope of humanity!" Prescott finished as he ended his speech. The COG were hyped, cheering at radios and old TVs.

Raptor was then soon met with a COG with a small build compared to most. He had a pointed beard like a mining prospector. He wore the COG Armour but it seemed old, and damaged. This guy must have been around for a long time. His headgear consisted of a dark brown cowboy stetson hat with many rips and holes on it.

"Welcome to the big suck, Sergeant Richardson. You ready to hit the road?" The Gear asked with a heavy southern accent.

"More than you know..." Kurt said with a nod.

"Well, let's go chunk some bullets at them grubs, boy." The COG replied with a hyped and cheerful tone.

Kurt nodded at his squad and they began to follow as they armed themselves with their primary weapons. They then climbed onto the Assault Derrick which the Southern Gear took them to and went to the driver's seat leaving Raptor on the platform.

"I didn't properly introduce myself, the name's Trevor, and this here is Bessy!" The southern Gear announced through their radio and April sighed.

"Of course he names his vehicle..."

Kurt chuckled at April's comment then pressed his ear piece with his two fingers. "Control, this is Raptor. We're aboard Rig 424, and we're heading out now." Kurt announced.

"Roger that, Raptor. You're good to go." Said Colonel Hoffman who took over communications for Raptor instead of Anya.

Kurt let go of his ear piece and turned to his squad with Sarah leaning on the guard rails, Carmine sat next to the turret and April sitting against a guard board. "Alright, settle in Raptor. Long ride to the Landown site." He said as he leaned on the guard rail.
