Fallon wakes up and checks the clock. She sees it's 10:00 am and decides to just spend her last day of freedom in bed watching Netflix. She sits up and takes Remy outside. Her plans for a relaxing morning in bed get interrupted by Remy, Who decides to run out to the woods.

Taking a deep breath, Fallon chases after her. She watches Remy run over to the pond and start drinking water. Disgusted, Fallon runs over and scoops her up. She slowly walks back to the house with Remy in her arms. She once again heads straight back to her room. Fallon lays down in bed with Remy curled up beside her. She goes back to watching The 100. She flies through at least ten episodes before she's interrupted for the first time.

"Fallon?" Her dad calls from outside her door.

"Come in." She yells wanting to continue the conversation without yelling.

"What are you doing?" He asks after opening the door.

"Watching my shows." She answers in a duh tone.

"You need to pack for the honeymoon."

"Ugh, I completely forgot." She answers

Her dad leaves and Fallon just sits still for a couple of minutes. She thinks about how much her life is going to change. The frustration and unknown leaves her in tears. Fallon has always been emotional, much to her dismay. She gets up and grabs a big suitcase she got for her eighteenth birthday only weeks ago. She thinks back to that day.

Her mom made it so special, saying how she's finally an adult and grown-up. Little did she know Fallon was far from a grown-up. She just wanted to enjoy her childhood. She remembers how she barely talked to her dad, due to their distant relationship. The distance was no one's fault, she was just always closer to her mom. She decides to get back to packing.

Not knowing where they're going, she takes clothes for all types of weather. From a swimsuit to a winter coat. She goes to her bathroom and fills a bag full of Remy's food. She grabs the food and bowls and adds them to the suitcase. She goes to the bathroom to get her toiletries. She puts them in then zips her suitcase. She looks at the clock and sees it's almost supper time. She decides against eating, still not having much of an appetite.

Plopping down on her bed, Fallon goes back to her show. She feels her eyes drifting. This confuses her. She does nothing all day but is always tired. She should probably see a therapist. She went once a while ago and was prescribed anxiety pills for when her panic attacks get unbearable. Besides the anxiety, she's probably depressed. Consumed by grief. Grief is a strange thing.

She can't help but see the irony. A funeral and a wedding in one week. A funeral signally the end. A wedding, the beginning. Their Beginning. She opens her eyes wide; determined to stay up late, not wanting to wake up in the middle of the night. She goes back to Netflix, flying through episodes. Once she reaches the end of season five, she decides to call it a night.

She turns off her T.V and light. She lays in bed, her previous exhaustion gone. Her mind drifts to Miles. Curious, she grabs her phone and googles him. She reads the news articles that have taken over her phone. She reads about his family. His parents died in a car accident as well. She looks at the date, 5/9/2015. Five years ago. 'I wonder if that made his so cold.' She thinks to herself.

She goes to the pictures and finds hundreds of paparazzi pictures. She can tell which ones are recent due to his black appearance. All black. Every picture. She thinks back to the funeral and remembers his all-black suit. She thought it was just because it was a funeral, but Fallon had to give him credit. His style matches his personality. Dark. She laughs to herself.

By the time she puts her phone down, it's well past midnight. She just lays there, feeling numb and empty at the same time. 'Tomorrows the day.' She thinks. Then she will be Fallon Kingston, Queen of Hallna. With that thought, she falls asleep.
