He walks up to the bruised man, assessing all his injuries.
"Did he tell us what we need?" Miles asks Parker, another member of the mafia. Parker shakes his head.
"But he did say something." He adds catching Miles's attention.
"He said you hurt my family, I'll hurt yours. Which is confusing because you don't have any family. Right?" He asks.
"I got married." He simply states taking Parker by surprise. No one expected the ruthless mafia boss to get married. After hearing the threat Miles makes his way back up to Fallon.
He enters their room and sees her sleeping peacefully. He grabs his laptop and sits next to her laying form. Fallon looks up at Miles as he types away.
"Hey princess, you've been asleep for a couple of hours." He states.
"Can I go out with Sawyer for supper? Just the two of us." She questions.
"No, we're under lockdown remember?"
"Yeah, any developments?"
"Nope." He lies.
"Well, can me and Sawyer eat here while you hang out with Harden?"
"I'm not really that close with him. I wouldn't even say we're friends."
"Well, you need to change that. Sawyer's my best friend, and you need to be at least friends with Harden." Fallon demands. Miles rolls his eyes but reluctantly agrees. With that, she texts Sawyer to come over.
"Okay, Sawyer's on his way over. Get going, I'll text you when you can come back. I love you."
"Love love princess." He replies kissing her on the head.
She hears Miles walk down the stairs leaving her in the house alone. She then hears the door open and knows it, Sawyer. No one locks their doors since it's a gated and guarded, private subdivision.
"Hey." She says to Sawyer as they both lay on the couch.
"What do you want to do?" He asks.
"Let's have supper then watch some movies."
They both walk out to the kitchen and pull-out ingredients. They both start making the easiest thing they can think of. Spaghetti. After they make and plate it, they sit down beside each other.
"So, what's your story?" Fallon asks after a few minutes of silence. He tenses.
"Well, it's complicated." He speaks.
"Oh, you don't have to tell me if you don't want to." Fallon shoots back, not wanting to make him uncomfortable.
" I started training four years ago. I married Harden two years ago." He finishes giving her a brief look into his life.
"How old are you?" She asks curiously not wanting to push him.
"I just turned 23. So my life has been pretty eventful, but not as eventful as your last two weeks"
"Yeah, it's been remarkably busy. I don't know what'd I'd do without Miles. He understands everything I'm going through." Sawyer nods and they go back to eating.
When they're both done eating, they go to the couch and open Disney plus on the big TV. Not even halfway through the movie, Fallon pauses it.
"We should go get ice cream." She requests.
"I wish, Miles said we can't go anywhere." As he says that Fallon feels anger and sadness consume her.
"You won't go get ice cream with me?" She asks with a shaky voice as tears stream down her face.
