I tell you, my day has been crammed, crazy, and confusing.

It started when Chuck came into the attraction that morning. He told me Guy found more training cassettes that seemed a bit more interesting than the last ones. Definitely looking forward to that...

But something weird happened when I mentioned Springtrap to him. He said he had no knowledge of him being repaired. Of course, it IS Chuck we're talking about here.

"I'm just glad it seems to be working fine, though!" he said with enthusiasm. "It really follows sound?"

"Well, it went to the room I played the BB voice box in," I replied. "So either it's attracted to sound, or it was a coincidence."

"Either way, it's sure to scare the shit out of the customers! I can't wait to tell Guy about this!"

If he was pulling a joke, he's a better actor than I thought. Of course, it really is entirely possible that he didn't know Springtrap was fixed...

Anyway, I then went home and instantly made myself a hot cup of coffee. As I took a sip, my phone rang in my pocket. I took it out and saw it was the local newspaper, "The Scottsdale Times".

"Hello?" I asked when I answered. "This is Eric Jefferson."

"Good morning, Mr. Jefferson," the female voice on the other end replied. "You are the one in charge of the new horror attraction in the strip mall, correct?"

"Well, that's actually more of my friend Chuck Cameron's responsibility, but yeah, I'm involved."

"Well, Mr. Cameron suggested I call you to set up an interview with the three of you involved in the project."

"Oh, he did? Well, alright, then. Uh, let's see..."

I glanced at my calendar on my fridge to try and find a good appointment time.

"We should all be free this Saturday at 7 pm," I replied. "Does that work for you?"

"Any time you're available works for me!"

"Perfect! I'll let the guys know."

"Very well, then. And, um, Mr. Jefferson?"

"...yes?"

"As unprofessional as this may sound...is it a good idea to make a haunted house based on Freddy Fazbear's Pizza?"

"Uh...why do you ask?"

"It's just...I used to work at one of the restaurants and...well...I've seen some crazy things."

"Well, with all due respect, Ma'am, this attraction won't harm anyone in any way, shape, or form."

"I know, but...nevermind. I'm just worrying myself. Anyway, have a nice day, Mr. Jefferson!"

"You, too, Miss...?"

"Roddington. Courtney Roddington."

"You, too, Miss Roddington."

We then hung up and I kept sipping my coffee. A second later, my phone rang again. I looked and saw it was Guy.

"Hello?"

"Hey-hey! I got great news for you, Man!"

"If it's the new cassette tapes, Chuck already told me."

"Well, that, but I got something else!"

"What?"

"I found an authentic Freddy Fazbear's Pizza uniform on eBay! The starting price is $15.00!"

"Well, I can't imagine too many people wanting to buy one, so I think we've got a fair shot!"

"I know, right?! And, Dude, I also found what's supposedly the sign that was in front of the '87 location!"

"What's that selling for?"

"Uh...around $50.00. I know it's pricy..."

"Hey, the more memorabilia, the better!"

"True that, Man! Ok, I'll try and win that, too!"

"Alright! Let Chuck know about it, alright?"

"Will do! Talk to you later, Man!"

We then hung up and I yawned. I really needed some actual sleep, but that'll have to come later; there's more work to do.

Suddenly, my phone rang again. I groaned and looked at it. It was Cleo. I was a bit confused; why would my mechanic be calling me?

"Hello?"

"Hey, Eric! I just wanted to say I'm sorry that I forgot to tell you something important."

"Don't worry about it; I already know and there's no problem at all."

"Ok, good! I'm glad you're not upset!"

"Why would I be upset?"

"Well, because I still haven't fixed the robot you found!"

After that, all I could hear was the shattering of my coffee mug as I dropped it. My foot was burning a bit as the drink seeped through my socks, but I wasn't paying too much attention to that.

"Is everything alright?!"

"Uh, yeah, sure. Um...what did you just say?"

"I said I haven't fixed that robot yet. My parents are in town and I haven't had time to work on it."

"I see..."

"So...you're not mad?"

"Not at all, Cleo. I completely understand."

"Really?"

"Of course. I know how parents are."

"Ok, great! But I promise I'll have a look at it before the attraction opens!"

"Good to hear! Well, you take care."

"You too!"

When I hung up, I continued to stare into space in deep thought. Did she really say she hasn't fixed Springtrap?! But I saw it move! I swear I did...!

Maybe I'm just not thinking properly from my lack of sleep. I just need to take a nap or something. But I'm also going to need to take a closer look at this golden animatronic...
