It's finally here, guys: the official Five Nights at Freddy's 4 Trailer! It may only be a little over a minute long, but I'd say we got some good info out of it! So, allow me to go though what I think we'll be seeing based on the trailer.
First off, we are greeted with the phrase "What is it you think you see?" I think this is a confirmation that these Nightmare Animatronics are just that: NIGHTMARES.
In that same scene, we see the phrase "What game do you think you are playing?" I think this is Scott's way of saying that this is not going to be the same FNAF we're used to, which is sitting in a room, watching a camera. No, this is going to be something very different.
We then see Nightmare Bonnie in the corner for a split second before he goes away. We then see "What did you bring home?" The answer, I think, is a bad memory of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. I think we're going to be playing as a child who witnessed the Bite of '87 and views the animatronics as evil. Then, a short time later, we get FNAF 4.
The room itself looks like a child's room, based on the toys on the floor and the fan (yes, the FAN) on the dresser. We have a closet in front of us and two doors on each side.
Here's where it gets interesting. We have Nightmare Bonnie in the left hallway, Nightmare Chica in the right hallway, and Nightmare Foxy in a closet that we are told to check on. Sound familiar? It should; it's the same as FNAF 1! The only one missing is Freddy...so, where is he? And where is Fredbear?
The Plushtrap seems interesting. It reminds me of the Music Box mechanic in FNAF 2, but tweaked. In the clip with Plushtrap, the light turns on and he jumps back into the chair. In the same scene, there's a "50" in the corner before the light turns on. When it turns on, it changes to a "49". So, is there a limited amount of times you can turn the light on? There's also an X at the end of the hall. Perhaps we need to stop him from reaching there?
The mini Freddys are a bit confusing; what is their purpose? How do you stop them? I'm sure it'll be terrifying no matter what.
Overall, I believe we are going to play as a child who witnessed the Bite of '87 and is having nightmares about it. Where the Springtrap plushie comes in and where the memory came from, I don't know. But I'm sure we'll figure it out eventually.
